Yes, I'm just as confused as you are, so anyone with a better explaination can enlighten me, but it seems as though another sequel of GoW has been confirmed and is set to be released in 2012. Now, despite me being a beloved fan of the series, I for one have mixed feelings with this. I orignally thought that Ghost of Sparta would be the last game, but it seems like that wasn't the case. According to the videos, Kratos's brother is set to be the main focus for the next installment so far, indicating that he wants revenge against Kratos for deserting him many years ago. Now, my opinion on this is, how the hell is this going to work? Kratos, who I assume is alive, Lost all of his weapons, including his chains, after he defeated Zeus, so no more chain-blade madness. There are no more Gods to kill, other than Aphrodite, but you get why she's an exception.
I don't know guys. I'm geared up for disappointment here, but all I saw were a few minutes of teasing, so I can't really tell if it'll be promising or not. I hope Sony Santa Monica know what they're doing.

Re: God of War IV
Someone diddn't watch the bonus feature on the original God of War. The first video was a video added after you beat the game, which could have been a plot point for God of War 2. Obviously, it was never used.
The second one is obviously a fan made trailer, seeing how it isn't even Kratos' voice, thought it was a nice try, and that video was not shown at E3.
Ghost of Sparta may not be the last one, but God of War IV is something that's only a fan boys dream at this point.

I think they could run with a story from the brother's point of view. Escape from Hades, climb Mount Olympus, massacre Aphrodite, fight Kratos. That'd make an interesting story.
