White Knight Chronicles, the Next .hack? (Slight Spoilers)

I kept trying to put up a random address but it just keeps telling me that the address is invalid, and I notice that the player character would get his/her own knight ark but how does one obtain it?

Don't make one up, like I said just pick one, like, I dunno, just google a place and use their address. It has to be an address that exists, that's all. You get the ark in the second game...

So I was on GameFAQS when people started telling me that WKC 2 was confirmed to be the final game(aside from the PSP spin off). When did Level 5 say this? I remember it planned as a trilogy, not to mention the second game ended with a cliffhanger.

I assumed it would be a trilogy, but I don't remember them ever saying. I just planned to figure it out when I got the game. That's kinda lame, they could have cranked out a lot more...

I'm wondering if maybe Level 5 was translated wrong when it was believed that they said that. After the WKC 2 credits, it says " TO BE NEXT EPISODE". It would be silly to say that without meaning it.

Well, there is Episode Portable, but you're right, that does sound like an argument for an Episode 3. I still haven't finished 2, so dunno what the context is yet. If it's still going that would be awesome though.

I preordered it, but there's no way it's getting here as fast as Quantum did...

It takes place 10,000 years earlier, as a sidestory to the manga about the Dogma Wars.

You get a third kind of giant thing, neither a Knight nor a Gigas, called a Ren Force. You're part of the army posing as mercenaries so you can do sidequests and earn a ton of daria, which are basically points for doing quests introduced in Ep II that you can exchange for exclusive items. You can import these onto your PS3, in addition to sending your avatar.

I heard from a friend that the knights can be used? Is it true?

In episode.2 you can get your avatar a Knight, but they still aren't very important as a character, which is like the opposite of the PSP game. In the PSP game your whole team transforms into armored warriors called a Ren Force with four different modes that can be mixed and matched across the team:









You also finally get to fight the knights that are good in the PS3 series.

So far the one and only thing I don't like about the PSP game is the utter lack of voicing. It's like anti-Link or something. It makes up for it by having insanely good music, so it's a lot like playing an old rpg, but still I was hoping for voice...

It's a little different. It's more like a realtime action PSP game, while at the same time retaining most of the features of the white knight chronicles battle system....
