I have nothing to say about this game, except; Bullet Hell -not so much in the earlier levels, but expect sh*tstorms during later, more difficult levels-...

and that Armour is godly awesome.
I personally think it's going to turn out to be epic, but I could be proven wrong. Then again, knowing how successful Titles like this generally are...
... Anyways, Lets us hear your opinions on this game, guys :U

It's a demo on how to duck and hide, shoot at foes, and enter melee combat. Plus, it teaches you about the 'powerslide' .
That armour is still godly epic.
Also, the U.S. release date will be around winter 2010.

Anyone ever seen Casshern? That's what inspired the 'Powerslide' ability that your character has.... and apparently most of his other abilities, including agility, martial arts, weapons skill....

Wow, I've been out of the loop. I already knew I was buying this before they announced what it was, but now I'm even more certain. Generally I try to avoid shooters, 3rd person or otherwise, on consoles since the input is dumbed down, but I'm confident PlatinumGames will find a way to make it intelligent and playable.

I am worried that the PS3 version will be seriously nerfed like Bayonetta, though. I need to get an Arcade or something...

EDIT: Ha, shoe's on the other foot now! They're using the PS3 as their dev platform. Good luck with the port, 360 people!

I will admit that the storyline is a bit stale though; "Evil Russians and Noble Americans who fight against them".
And yet, I think that the gameplay and action will do far more than simply make up for this.

UPDATE #4: Your 'Powerslide' bar has been revealed to ALSO be your energy bar, and your 'powerattack' bar. When that bar depletes, you're pretty much screwed.
As a result, Hard mode is -theoretically- going to be pretty damn 'Nintendo Hard'. Expect a heavy necessity to practice your agility, and moderate 'Powerslide' usage :U

This game is now my main reason for wanting to buy a PS3.
And thank GOD it's going to be a PS3-based game! This way the controls will suit the plaform much better.. I hope. *crosses fingers*

I want this game badly. It's going to have to royally f*ck up the gameplay mechanics for me not to buy it.

Also, why the hell is there an option "It's a Bayonetta rip?" It's nothing like Bayonetta. It's not even the same genre.

So we can powerslide across the area like a madman, use a feature called Perception Mode which is basically bulletime, engage in stylistic cinematic quick time events, receive aid from A.I. teamates, and avoid overheating the suit by balancing the use of it's abilities....Not bad.

I'm starting to think the gameplay looks like a combination of sonic the hedgehog and halo, and why is it russians vs americans? Thats been done way to many times so why bother?
