EA announces Mass Effect 2 for PS3

Title says it all. EA announced it at Gamescom. It's coming January 2011. It's not a collection, just ME2, no ME1. So you can't carry your Shepard over and start off from the sequel than the original. This should have went multi-platform a long time ago. EA didn't say if it would include DLC or not and it's only a year late .

I played and beat this game a long time ago, so I have no reason to consider it. No announcement of DLC and a total lack of character carry over makes this port really unappealing. The only way this will work is if they offer some kind of exclusive content much like 2K Games did for Bioshock's PS3 port.
