I'm looking for a decent job that isn't food related and recently had a Comcast technician replace a bad splitter and some cables that we weren't aware were of (they really were old, beat-up, and nasty, the service is also free).
Would anyone happen to know what all qualifications are needed for such a job? Most of the techs that I've seen are young, probably in their early 20's, so I'm hoping that I could do something similar.
Of course this is temporary, but I need a job for now. I'll be moving to Boston within a year to start my college career in theater and film.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Anyone ever done tech work for a cable/net provider?

Just make sure to get certified.
