"Ah, what?" Alice was astonished, "You were going to kill your friend?" She stepped back with a hand held up to her mouth.

Rylo: if i had to, i was afraid to fight him...but i'm glad i didn't but now i gotta help out this client...life or death situation[he was shaking] i'm scared

"Oh... I'm glad you didn't have to as well." Alice regained her posture. "Why are you doing a job for someone if you're scared?"

"Oh..." Alice could definitely relate to not wanting innocent people to die. That was the whole purpose to using her headphones.

"Well," She looked at Rylo, "I'll do what ever I can to help. I don't like letting people die either. Especially if there is something I can do to stop it."

Alice wiped the tear off Rylo's cheek with her thumb. "I guess that makes me your little sister, huh?"

She smiled up at him. "Where is your sister now?"

Rylo: no i don't get crushes on family....she's being held hostage...i could care less for my father, all i'm doing is saving her and bringing her here....

"Crushes? What's a crushes?" Alice lost sight of the situation.

Is it like a cramp? Maybe flying after eating is like swimming after eating? No that can't be right.

Alice began pacing back and forth in her own world.

He said he doesn't get crushes on family. If crushes was a type of cramp it wouldn't make sense in that context. Perhaps it's an emotional feeling. Like worry. 'I don't get worried about family.' No, no, no. That doesn't make sense either. He just cried when he thought about his sister.

Alice stopped pacing back and forth facing away from Rylo, completely forgetting that he was there. She raised a straight index finger up and tapped her chin repeatedly.

So if it isn't an emotional or physical feeling... an order? 'I don't get orders on my family'? 'I don't get memories on my family'?

Alice sighed. "No, those can't be the meanings." She replaced her headphones on her ears to think.

What I need is a dictionary! ... But I didn't bring one.

"Blast. Maybe..."

This school probably has a library. I could just go there. But how do I find the library?

Alice began walking down the hallway absentmindedly.

Perhaps if I find a map on a wall...

((OOC: Kai, I've been meaning to mention this for a while. Not just to you, but your post reminded me. Something that will make anyone and everyone's writing a LOT better is to avoid using the same word twice in one sentence. For instance, Kai, you used 'and' several times in one sentence. Not to be picking on you, a few people keep doing it... can't always be dodged of course. Just a tip and heads up for everybody ))

Alice turned around. She pulled her ear phones off.

"Sorry, what did you say? Wait, hold that thought. I'm trying to find a map on a wall. Have you seen any?" Alice looked around, still in her own little world and forgetting the true goal of her meandering.
