Way to revive an old ass topic
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast

For it is the number of a man; and his number is... 666

Not any worse than pointing out you "revived" a topic, in my opinion >3> lol
But yeah, reviving old topics is against the rules:
But don't worry, we won't bite your head off or anything, as long as you don't do it like...20 times in a row. Just try to post more in the active topics, and if you see an old topic that contains information you'd like to discuss, then you're free to make a new topic about it. So thazzit :P
But yeah, reviving old topics is against the rules:
There are exceptions though, for example, posting in stickied threads where there can be inactivity for long but there's no problem if a question or comment is posted in there anytime (FAQs and General Help topics, for example), and in forums such like the IMOQ ones, most of the first-page topics have over 5 months of inactivity, and there's hardly a new post per month...so, there isn't any reason why to prevent users posting in them even if they've been dead for a long time.No reviving dead threads (4 months of inactivity or more)

There is no use moving back, you can't trace back your path
