Luke was nineteen years of age and already a Mod of the greatest game ever to hit the Internet, already this site was ranked number 1 on the charts and it never seemed to move. the game was know as The World, Luke was in charge of one of the many guilds. The game had been redone several times since Luke had started playing and now this new version with all new Severs and Home cities it was different and hard to get use to... He was one of the many Mod's of Sever Delta. and his guild was based straight out of a new revised town called Zoir. Though he was feeling a little over bared with being a Mod he enjoyed it. Everyone knew him as a legendary Player, not a moderator, he had after all, never used his powers in the sight of another player

but recently things have become out of wack, and his job has gotten harder, and brought him to the strangest places of the world, bugs continue to appear and pks run a muck, but not just that, after 3 days of havoc and mayhem, there was a bug he happened upon, It changed his life forever.....

if you are player killed, your character is trashed. That means you will have to build up a new one(unless you had saved before so). That also means leveling back up from 1 to what ever level your last character is.

Second, If I do a private message or party message in the role-play, then only those who I send the post to in private/party will hear it. That means right now in the rp we are all talking in channel 1 in the rp. Channel 1 allows universal speech, here is some examples in chat in .hack

(this would mean only Kiwa got the message, no one else would know what I said but her, also she could copy and paste it to others, unless she does that no one will know about the massage).

The same concept goes with party messages, all those in your party can read your party messages. Those who are not will not be able to hear your messages/ voices.

Being well known is kinda like having small children throw small stones at you, its annoying as hell. Walking down the street and people kinda just look and whisper about you. Well this was happening as we speak. I walked down the main street of Zoir, merchant booths lined up with AI's that would shout and try to get the players attention.

Raiven:hmm i wonder how grunty is doing, he sure seemed to be sad when i told him i had to leave, maybe i should go check up on him, haha yeah that would cheer him up *and keep these other players eyes offa me*

Dang I finally got to lvl 24 and now I have to start all over again what kind of event was that?
She had only been playing The world for barely even three months and didn't know the difference between things yet. She was never good at video games, but thought she would try.
"Hmmmm........"
Her character looked thrashed. What were once clothes now just hung there like rags.
I have to build my character all over again...
She sighed and continued to walk to one of the shops.

Raiven:oh excuse me, oh your character...do you not know of the save shop? hmm, here....[he raised his huge sword (its bigger than most most edge punishers blades) and Natoli's character returned to normal]

*haha there now it just looks like a regular spell rather than my moderator abbilities*

"Hey thanks! I'm not very good with games and whatnotness. I've only been playing for a while and still geting used to things." she rammbled on a little bit more than asked.

((OOC: Yeah, it has been a while since I have done a .Hack role play. I am game. Few questions, comments and suggestions. You say this is gonna be your mega awesomo role play, but it seems to be just like every other .hack rp. So can you explain maybe why it is gonna be your best? Also, as a suggestion to the story line/plot I recommend making it necessary for characters to meet offline (Perhaps there is a Hacker causing the bugs that needs to be tracked down offline? Just an example). And for the PKers, as I think I shall be one, has something already happened that brought them down to level 1 or is something about to happen? And Shugo_lover still needs to post his/her level in his/her signature. That is all right now. I shall continue developing my character as I wait for your reply.))

((well if your pk'd its like death, restart from last save or start over from lvl 1, its like that because a hacker had implimented a virus into the world, but turns out hes rich and powerful, so he has found a way to hide almost every time, thats why offline names are required because they gotta hunt him down))

Bio: She was born into a rich and proud family. Her Father is a computer company CEO and her Mother was a famous poet. At the tender age of ten Martyr's Mother died after falling over and cracking her head on the concrete. She suffered from Osteogenesis Imperfecta. This condition was passed to Martyr. Having no idea how to deal with a daughter coming into her teen years, let alone a sick one, mixed in with his busy schedule, Martyr's father almost never saw her anymore. Martyr began to withdraw into her self and because of this she began to be bullied at school. At the age of eleven she was pushed down a set of stairs and broke several bones including a few in her leg which, because of the severe breaks, had to be amputated. She spent the next year of her life in a bed at home being privately schooled and cared for. On her twelfth birthday her father, having even less idea than ever before how to deal with his daughter, brought home an elite computer set with a co-company's game called The World. This turned out to be a fantastic gift. Martyr tried the game out. She grew fond of the ability to move and freely, to be strong and stronger than others. The game became a drug to her and she played during any free time. She quickly grew into a powerful PKK and also killed players that were rude, boastful or anything else Martyr deemed similar to the bullies from her school. In her bed, around people, Martyr was silent, difficult to talk to and cold. But in the game she was strong, proud and loud. Because her voice had always been naturally low, people online believed she was a boy, although some commented on her age. These people usually died the next time they warped to an area. After three years she reached level 100 and that is where we are now.

The body fell to the ground, already fading in colour.

"You should NOT have called me a KID," She sheathed her blade on her back. The surroundings were green, picturesque and bright.

"I do not have time for this."

She warped back to town.

"City of the sky. Pfft. You can see the sky most places you go."

She strode over the bricks, her soft boots giving a very low puff with each step.

"I bet I can get a new blade now. Where the hell is the weapon shop? I hate these new towns."

[he looked around and his pc character was alone, surrounded by blackness, he raised his sword and swung it a few times causing it too rupture and show the town of zior, wherever he was, he knew he had work to do]

((OOC: For the sake of making it easier to remember, I am going to refer to Selene as a guy and Martyr as a girl.))

Selene picked himself up and brushed the CG dust off his clothes. "You can only be so smug at that level. But I will catch up soon, then you will be singing a different tune. Legendary, pfft."

Selene continued marching around the town searching for the weapon shop. Players were starting to avoid him; word was spreading of a short tempered, fair haired Edge Punisher. He kept pounding around the city for another minute.

"I am never going to find this place on my own," Selene sighed and looked about for some experienced and aloof players. One young Flick Reaper caught his attention.

"YOU!" Selene pointed at a young girl in a black lolita dress with a top hat. The Flick Reaper froze on the spot. Selene ran up to her in just a few strong strides.

"Tell me, where is the weapon shop?"

"I-i-i-i..."

Selene sighed. "Hurry up, I do not have all day."

The reaper gulped through the microphone. She must be relatively new to this game. How embarrassing.

The Reaper pointed over her shoulder. "D-d-down there... To-to the left, sir." She had a very small voice, like the chirp of a chick.

"I do not like owing people. Here is my member address," Selene sent it, "If you need a favour call me. Only once though."

Selene bolted off down the street. She will never have the guts to use that address.

Selene found the shop and purchased a new, much more powerful blade. This one was massive, it didn't even fit on his back. Selene dragged the blade out of the shop and held it up to admire.

"Large, thick, powerful. These are traits to be admired!" He let the blade fall onto his shoulder with a loud 'poof'.

"I bet you could get an even better blade if you participated in that event that's on today." Selene spun around surprised. There, about half his height, stood the flick reaper from earlier.

Selene regained his arrogant posture leaning back a little and holding his sword over both shoulders, his arms over the top.

"Yeah, well I am not one to participate in events."

"But you said you owed me a favour," the little Reaper chirped, her eyes pleading like that of a puppy without a friend.

Selene glared at her. "Fine. I will help you win this one event." Selene instantly received the party invitation and groaned as he accepted.

"Woah! You are level 76!?" Selene's eyes widened in awe.

"Yeah?"
