No way. Ukanlos was so easy! I have a tougher time with One-Eared Garuga!nobodyknows wrote:Of COURSE MH has a storyline!! It's just hard to see. You need to hunt various beasts in order to be able to qualify for the mission where they find the Ukalnos, and you have to effectively save the village from sheer destruction.Erranty wrote:Not even that, just make it fun. Because Monster Hunter is almost the exact same way. So storyline, no real point, just fun and collecting, and challenging your own skills. But I guess MH's graphics and soundtrack help a ton too.Keyaki wrote:Exactly. At least give me a reason to wearing this stupid armor and wandering around making runes and fighting random monsters >>

Garuga was pish. However, it still counts as a story... kind of... i mean, people start thanking you if you defeat it. Imho, the storyline actually seems to be 'save the village of Pokke from IMPENDING DEATH'.Erranty wrote:No way. Ukanlos was so easy! Re: Does anyone play any MMORPGs?
Runescape does have a storyline. The storyline is not important on free to play worlds, but plays a major one in members worlds. A player sets there own goals.
Right now the story is heading towards the 2nd God Wars. In members worlds you can choose to do things like follow Saradomin God of order, Guthix God of balance, or Zamorak God evil. Those are the 3 main gods, and there are other semi gods that wants power. Right now Zaros wants revenge of Zamorak for backstabbing him, and taking his power. He is showing signs of returning, and wants Zamorak dead.
RS is becoming like another WoW. There is even a skill called Dungeoneering now where you raid dungeons, and kill a boss at the end. Be the way Castle Wars is dead now.

Re: Does anyone play any MMORPGs?
If you want to know other rpg's try cabal online, it's kind of unique with about 6 classes and multiple items/crafting branches to undertake.
You can also try drift city: it's a racing game with lots of missions, but only problem is leveling is a bit difficult
At least you have many vehicles to purchase with the ability to obtain upgrades some what easily
Sucks .Hack G.U. can't be a real mmorpg lol that would be one to post up if there was one

Um, yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and recommend AGAINST Cabal Online. I had such a horrible experience just starting out in the game that I've blocked out those memories to protect my sanity.world2anime wrote:If you want to know other rpg's try cabal online, it's kind of unique with about 6 classes and multiple items/crafting branches to undertake.

Re: Does anyone play any MMORPGs?
My guess is the creators just decided to make everything aggo, and screw the laws of nature, making newbie players ragequit like I did. Getting killed by bunnies is bullsh*t.Keyaki wrote:Uh.....Wow....
