Tales of Eternia.

Post by GyppyGirl2021 »

Old-ass game, most underrated in its series, blah blah blah.

So on and so forth.

It's fine if you like PSX RPGs, but if you're a graphics and gameplay whore it's a terrible idea. Gameplay is pretty basic (even though it's a lot better than its predecessors), and graphics are meh except for CG cutscenes.

But I love the game regardless. <3

(also known as "Tales of Destiny II" in America, not to be confused with the Japanese-only "Tales of Destiny 2". It was renamed due to copyright issues... I'm sure you can guess why.)

So... what exactly is it that makes this the most underrated in the series then?

Because one of the two games in the series with worse graphics and gameplay than it is on the altar of every single Tales fan in existence?

And I think it's safe to say that Eternia is the least popular game in the series, thanks to the Destiny remake and the bazillion Phantasia ports and remakes. Everything after Eternia is more popular, or at least more well-known (Legendia, I'm looking at you).

...Actually, I'd say that Legendia has worse gameplay. And comparatively, it has worse graphics. But for some reason, it's still more appreciated.

I played the PSP version of this game, and i actually really enjoyed it. Keele is wonderful. just saying >w<
*ahem* anyway, yeah, i dont understand why they called it "Tales of Destiny 2" at first, but oh well. xD

Legendia was alright. i loved Moses cause he was hilarious, but yeah. Legendia could have been a bit better all around, but it was still a good game though.
