10 years exclusive deal with Activison. Deals with the devil never works out. At least it's a new IP. I wonder if they're tired of making shooters yet?

Ok, I love how people just take this at face value. Bungie was smart with the deal. They retain the rights to their IP, while Devilvision can publish and distribute. This deal has been in the works for 9 months, so Bungie is most likely being smart about this and giving Activision zero input over anything they make, just the right to take ten percent off the top. Look on the bright side though, Bungies name can be seen on a PS3 now, and they'll make an even bigger boat load of cash.

A company that hasn't released an original title in nearly ten years but still makes obscene amounts of money milking a franchise by rehashing the original game over and over and over again until people realize they've been playing the same game for 10 years is banding together with a company that's hobbies include bending its fans over a table and "innovating" their brains out while showing its studios what happens to a prostitute when she asks for a raise? Sounds like a perfect match. So what's the surprise?
