From my point of view FFT, FF6, FF7, and FF12 are the best FFs. FF13 comes out in North America soon, and I doubt it will disappoint people.

I liked the drama. It worked really well with the story. I just hope that people don't get upset because  Cid dies. Twice.

I'm going to be using Lost Odyssey as a benchmark in terms of character development - just finished the game today. If FFXIII can surpass that for me, it'll be an amazing experience.

If it has a good story line and a little drama and angst I guess it well be fine I might end up buying this game in the future maybe not right away but it looks kind of fun but it remind me of FFX2 just a tiny bit maybe because of Lighting.
I am 'Asukai' from here but I can't get into my old account it's a curse lol.

Just played FFXIII

And I must say, its amazing. The battle system is fluid as can be with the constant moving and attack combos. The graphics are amazing the whole way through game play and cut scenes. It switches nicely between different story lines. So far its an all around amazing game and I know for a fact I wont be getting tired of it any time soon.

Just got it today and taking a quick break from playing it. Not very far but so far I'm enjoying it a lot more than I did XII, I do have a few problems mainly that you only control one character but whatever I'll get used to it.

A little overdramatic though, even for a Final Fantasy title.

Agreed, though I do enjoy how linear it is because ive always loved FF games for their stories.

I'm in Chapter 11 and digging the new direction this game went. I spent too many hours lost beyond reason in the FFXI zones, so I welcome the mostly linear experience. I like the combat system too, as you will eventually hit the point where having the wrong configuration will lead to fights taking way too long.

Well rounded game IMO, negate the hate on the game. Considering how inevitable FF rage is on the internet, you're best off to try it yourself, if you feel you might not enjoy it.

After finishing it I can say with confidence that I am one of the many haters of this game, for reasons why please see just about any negative review or topic regarding why. I will not go in depth as I don't want this topic to spread out into more of the same nonsense throughout the net regarding this, also because I'm too damn lazy.
