Still playing Diablo?

Is anyone still playing Diablo one? Or did you?

I used to play about five years ago but then gave it up... dunno why. Anyway, I picked it up again (found it for five dollars when I visited australia) and found that there's STILL people playing... just found it pretty impressive. Not many people though.

I don't like the concept of the series, but I'm tempted to try it out just to see what all the fuss is about, especially since it had some cameos in Warcraft 3 >_<

I didn't play Diablo I online, and I stopped playing Diablo II once my two accounts were deleted from BattleNet for god-knows-why. Since then I haven't picked up either of them. I'm a little surprised, though, that you were able to find a copy of Diablo I in Australia considering that it seems like any game that is more violent than Tetris gets banned in that country.

I'm not totally surprised that there are still people playing it though. There are probably people who still play Warcraft II as well. Old Blizzard games tend to have a pretty loyal following even if it's just a small one. I remember when Warcraft III came out and the Warcraft II people were complaining about how it was worse and how they "would rather play a game with good 2D graphics than one with crappy 3D graphics." Personally I thought Diablo II was better, but like I said, I haven't played either in years.

I've always been a fan of Warcraft, I was thrilled when they announced a third game and pissed when my old comp couldn't run it. XD I still enjoy the first two games just as much as I enjoy the third (though I've honestly tired myself of playing all of them after my recent reinterest in them due to lack of PS2).

The only other Blizzard game I've played is Starcraft, though. Like I said, I'm willing to try Diablo just to see what all the hype is about, but I'm not too thrilled with the concept... after the Burning Legion in Warcraft 3, I've had enough of demons. XD

I played Diablo 1 and 2 back in the day. Never went online with Diablo 1 though because I had no internet access at the time. I'm surprised people are still playing this game. It's almost 14 years old. Diablo 2, I got town killed due to someone using a hack and that was the last time I played it. Diablo 1 was even more susceptible to hacks. If you have a battlenet account, you can add a game to it for digital download. So I ended up adding WoW, Warcraft 3, Frozen Throne, Diablo 2, Lord of Destruction and even Starcraft. Too bad Diablo 1 doesn't have a cd key. I would add that too I'll add Warcraft 2 once I get it in the mail. I lost my copy a few years back. Gonna see if I can get a brand new copy of Diablo 1 anywhere. I also lost my copy.

I have two copies But I'm sending one off to a friend cause she moved really far away... and doesn't want to download anything and doesn't have a 360 or anything.... But you'd be able to find it cheap on Ebay

OH! And an update! I also found me self a copy of Diablo II! Seeing as people still play the first it's obvious to say that people are still playing two Gotta say I like the first more though. Oshivah.
