I wouldn't call Arceus "god". All he did was make Dialga, Palkia, Giratina,Uxie, Mespirt, and Azelf.

The 3; being creators and controllers of anti-matter,Time and Space created the world, the appearance of all the other legendary Pokemon spontaneously followed and worked together to bring to world to how it is now. So I wouldn't really call Arceus "god".

Hmm, lots of space-talk in this thread. Which to me does sound like a logical turn for the new Generation of Pokemon...but there is one other theory I've come across. (So if it sounds dumb, it wasn't my idea XD But I think it does make some sense)

I don't have any particular maps/graphs thingies to show, but up 'til now, all the regions in the Pokemon world are all based off of places in Japan. Not to mention, they're regions, not necessarily countries. But now we have a guy who's an "international" investigator..this sort of thing has never really been brought up in the Pokemon world xD

I mean, we've been hearing about space travel since the beginning; (Clefairy and moonstones and such) and even in modern times with those legendaries and team Galactic. But traveling to other nations would kinda be a whole new thing with new Pokemon. (Oh gosh, Pokemon Regions based off the states would be epic xD I'd like to see what kind of Pokemon would be found near where I am now and where I grew up~)

Then again, if they did the whole, other countries thing, then it'd take infinity and beyond to finish Pokemon...because it would never end in our life time XD

So yeah, there's my..."I heard this theory from such and such and thought it was neat"...thing. c:

Considering the regions visited so far, and the amount of Pokemons in those regions...if Pokemon were to continue until all regions in Japan were visited, there would be like....1500 Pokemons already. Take that to different countries, and merely in half of Asia, you'd have 10000 different Pokemons D8!!!

And maybe the idea of Pokemon was originally to do that, continue with different regions from Japan until they're done with it...though they really went too far by creating the Space/Time/Alpha Pokemons already x_X So, now they'll either create new legendaries, but from "lesser", more earthly things....or keep going ahead with breaking the limits and creating Pokemons for Planets, Dimensions, Meaning of Existence, and even Fourth Wall or whatever. If they lessen their legendaries, then Pokemon might last for all the regions....but if they go crazy with "9th Quantum Dimension Legendary Pokemon", they won't last for more than 2 Generations, because even Gurren Lagann had to stop after they treated galaxies like frisbees X_x lol

You're absolutely right man @_@ Though personally I think they should have quit while they were ahead, y'know? But now...ugh...I just hope they don't do what they did in the last generation.. "Hey, lets pump out a crap-load of legendaries!! Everyone loves Legendary Pokemon the mostest so lets give it to 'em!" (If someone actually thought that up in the creative process I really wanna smack them D:> Legendary Pokemon should be mysterious and special, not everywhere and shoved in your face all the time ;_; Though I guess that's a matter of opinion..)

Still, there's a pretty decent chance that they'll go international, but perhaps on a slightly smaller scale than they have been. At least long enough to last 1-3 more generations. Heck they might even do the space travel thing too, if not very soon. For some reason I can see them going over the top, but at the same time I dunno if they would XD

USA: Squirrels, Deer, Buffalo (extinct) Falcons, Hawks, Eagles, Coyotes, Foxes, Wolves, Snakes, Spiders, Horses, Cattle.
Russia: Bison, Wolves.
Europe: Pigeons.
Africa: Large Cats, Giraffes, Deadly Tarantulas, Monkeys, Antelope, Elephants.
South America: Deadly Snakes, Deadly Tarantulas, Deadly Plants, Monkeys, Elephants, Parrots, Deadly Insects.
Antartica: Penguins.
North Pole: Wolves, Seals, Polar Bears.
Australia, Koalas, Kangaroos, Dingos,
Tasmania: Tasmanian Devil, The Dodo (extinct).
India: Elephants.
The Middle East: Scorpions, Camels.
Ireland: No Snakes allowed, Just Donkeys.
Mexico: Children.

Anyway, I'm a member of PokeCommunity. Anyway we're discussion the same topic. One person made the idea of basing the new Pokemon of the Roman/Greek deities. Since all the legendary Pokemon in the past were based of deities from Hebrew( Rayquaza= Ziz, Groudon= Behemoth, and Kyogre= Leviathan) and Japanese mythology (Ho-Oh=Fenghuang~Chinese Immortal Phoenix, Lugia= Ryujin, Entei=Lion-Dogs, mythical Chinese Guardians,Raikou=Raiju~oddly enough, Suicune=Fujin,Celebi=Dryad, Moltres= Phoenix, Articuno=Rukh~Persian/Arabic Anka,Zapdos=Thunderbird~Native American).

Maybe it'd be a good idea to make the new legendary Pokemon from Roman/Greek Gods

Well, seeing as how the Pokemon anime alone has been runnin' in Japan for nearly 13 years now; I kinda doubt that Ash will suddenly grow up and marry anyone, let alone become a Pokemon Master. While it would be awesome if he faced Giovanni; I kinda feel like with other crime syndicates stealin' the spotlight away from Team Rocket, (If Jessie, James and Meowth weren't around, they would hardly ever be mentioned in Sinnoh, if at all) I sorta kinda doubt that battle will come up either >_o

I think in the beginning they were planning for the show to have some kind of ending, (the first movie was gonna be a wrap-up for the anime as a whole. Gosh I love bringin' that up huh? XD) similar to other big shounen titles like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach; still on-going but you can -tell- they won't last forever.

However, Pokemon as I see it has pretty become Doreamon or even Lupin III. (That second one obviously not targeted towards the same age group XD) But askin' when and who Ash will marry is kinda like askin' when Lupin will give up a life of crime and marry Fujiko or somethin', y'know? @_@ (Plus Ash and Lupin don't really age either and had a bunch of movies & episodes of their shows)
