FUNimation swiped FLCL

I'm really not ready for this. They'll probably be selling the DVDs again, and I don't have enough spare cash cuz I wasn't expecting to have to buy Sundome Vol 7 AND the FLCL collection.

Yea, I had to buy mine at a Convention. Best $15 I ever spent.

I don't have good experience with eBay and the quality of the disks I've bought from it.

Conventions. Box sets, half the retail cost. And no tax ^_^.

Never buy *DVDs or CDs* from there. It's an amazing source of cheap stuff if you're not dumb...

I've bought a few broken MP3 players on there and used their parts to make a working one. Ended up with a 40GB mp3 player for less $30 with all I spent. Just gotta know a little about electronics.

But CDs and DVDs can't be fixed as easily. Cameras either.

I've never had a bad experience with eBay, unless you count losing an auction on a playset L5R singles (three cards total) to a $60 bid. Generally, the people are really nice and able to answer questions if I take the time to ask. And the rare occasions when a seller doesn't ship me exactly what was listed, I've found it incredibly easy to submit a case and get my money returned to me.

By contrast, I absolutely hate Amazon. I don't know what it is, but for some reason I can never get a transaction to run smoothly on Amazon, and none of the cases I've submitted have gotten any reply whatsoever.

Wow that's like the opposite of my experience with Amazon and Ebay. With Ebay, I waited too long on an auction before contacting the seller if he was going to ship my cards and he never did. I waited, without contacting paypal, so I couldn't get my refund once it passed 30 days. Ironically, that seller had 98% power seller rating. Negative feedback and after enough of them, that account is banned.
With amazon, just had a talk about why they were not shipping my order with Appleseed Limited Edition and BladeRunner Blu-ray. To make it short, they didn't have it in stock and also didn't update their listing to reflect this. So he just changed my order to ship BladeRunner and I got another Appleseed Limited Edition from another seller.
Occasionally shop around ebay, but prefer getting anything I want elsewhere. It's a good source of cheap used stuff and amazon isn't.
