I spent it sleeping (no, not with someone). I was too tired to give a crap about new year.

Actually, my friends and I have a 3 or 4 year-old tradition called "Happy Metal Gear" where we essentially just take turns playing a Metal Gear game into the new year, so I don't find that strange at all...

This year I spent it at Washinomiya Shrine, though.

Hey I spent mine playing 42, drinking, and getting laid. How bout that. :) I hope alot more people did too... if everyone got laid we would be a happier place, I tell you.
Only until mass pregnancy erupts causing chaos! Hospitals would be booked solid and not enough rooms would be open for people who are actually sick to get treatment, causing sick people to infect the babies (who don't have good immune systems yet) and then we get a mass infant death rate forcing hundreds of babies to be burned and the smoke would fill the skies blacking out the sun. Then our crops die and so do we. SEX EQUALS GENOCIDE! lol

I spent my New Year's at my aunt's place, taking care of her after she took a nasty fall on some ice.

Also, day long Looney Tunes marathon was great.

My fiancées work schedule made doing anything for the first a no go. He works the night shift so I spent the time with friends instead. However to make up for that we flew to my parents place for the 4-6th and had a combination Christmas and New Year's holiday celebration. And incidentally I introduced my fiancée to my older brothers since they hadn't met him yet.

The year is going to get hectic for me. I'm not looking forward to all the work that I will be doing. Hell, I am surprised I didn't even come here on New Years. I need to get active on this site again. I miss all my friends XD

Sup everyone! I saw the New York ball drop and remembered about posting this last year. I'm pretty glad that I could find it again. Well not really glad but it did make me smile. I just wanna say "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" from the central time zone. ;P For those who don't know, it's one hour before the Yankees' timezone so we're like the third to last to celebrating New Year. Hope everyone or at least someone will go out, find a friend, get some booz(if your legal), look for a new year's party to crash, and buy some 2009 glasses. Oh, I mean 2010 glasses, excuse me. Btw, did anyone see the 2010 glasses? It looked like the 1 was sticking out like a horn. The 0's are still eyes but the 1 is squeezed in between.
I'm still feel a little depress during the holidays so nothing changed there but 2009 was one of my best years! Hope you enjoyed what this year and this decade had to offer too. I topped everything off by finally finishing Shadow of the Colossus and it is a masterpiece! I wished I had Ico because the price now is around 30 bucks for a used copy. *Sadness* Hope everyone who posted in this thread is still here.
Oh, and I finally found those pictures of cake! I'm posting the link instead of the actual picture so I hope that's alright:

http://www.omnomicon.com/rainbowcake (a lengthy "how to", cake is at the bottom)

Oh and Happy Birthday to Nightwalker Uruha and XxXblackabyssXxX assuming that they weren't lazy enough to leave New Year as their birthday like Gemcrim. ;D

P.S. I'm watching the Zelda marathon for charity on extra lives. Happy New Year and I hope you had an awesome Christmas!

No freaking way for me. Sure, i had alot of awesome moments, got irreplaceable memories that i'm happy to have lived, and met people who meant and still mean so much for me. But i suffered a HELL LOT, which even though it taught me alot of things, made me ready more than ever for actually living a life on my own, and learned alot of things overall, it was still painful as all hell. Maybe thanks to this last year i'm a better person now and ready to enjoy the following years, but still, no way this was my best year...probably one of the worst, in fact x-x'

But still, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! May your wishes be fulfilled and all that crap that we repeat simply because it sounds spiffy and gives us warm feelings sometimes X3

...And now to end this 1-year thread necromancy, i think 'XD
