"It's fine," Mizuki said calmly when Beaux asked her to repeat herself. Her voice lowered as her gaze slipped in the direction that Phantom sat, and she continued where she had left off before Beaux had slipped into his thoughts. "I was just saying how he has this aura about him, and how, like the entire castle, it gives me the creeps."

With a soft sigh, Mizuki turned and leaned onto the rail, her arms crossed on the railing supporting the majority of her upper body weight. It seemed no one else was arriving, so everyone who was invited was obviouslly already inside, enjoying themselves, while no doubt checking out their future oppoinents. What a beautiful view...It's so strange that a place as beautiful as this would be owned by such a dark seeming man...

"Which is precisely why you should own it," a female voice echoed after Mizuki's thoughts.

It caught her completely off guard, and as a result, Mizuki's shoulders jumped faintly in the darkness. However, the moon and stars were too bright, and she knew that Beaux would most like have seen it. I don't want him worrying about me any more than he already could be because of earlier..Please don't let him have noticed...

"Yes, he does.." Sakura began before watching Kazuki follow a man out the newly broken window. Her hand found it's way to her face, and she was quickly resting her forehead against her fingertips with her eyes closed.

"Sigh...He certainly is your son, Kyo. There can never be a doubt about that one...." With a light laugh, she looked back up to see the reactions of the surrounding visitors. "We need to go and stop him now, before his actions start an all out brawl with the other contestants, dear.."

"He certainly does give off a certain "aura". That intensity is fairly daunting." Beaux did indeed notice Mizuki's shoulders jump, starlight or no he could have and besides he had practically attuned his eyes to catch every movement of Mizuki, though he delegated the reaction to something much more innocuous. he moved behind Mizuki, wrapped his arms around her taking her weight off the railing, and began slowly rocking from side to side. "You're shivering, should we go inside? Or are you good like this?"

Kazuki: RAHH!! { he smashes the mans face into the ground and some other people show up} keh come on then! { he starts to fight a bunch of people and their so skilled and strong that hes having a bit of trouble} eat this!V { he slams the ground while crossing his ams sending a spiral of fire upward kncking the people back} HA!

Kyo: * sigh yeah I guess hang on I'll be back* { he walks outside and picks up kazuki by the collar} why cant you behave like a normal person

Phantom: grins like a crazed person allright time to reveal our little discovery ladies and gentleman I would like to present to you the bodies of the kokuyoku and adelheid their souls may be gone but their bodies remain intact { he snaps his fingers and a purple aura appears and 2 bodies appear floating next to him}

Kyo: ...................... { standing next to sakura though hes just staring and not saying anything}

Kazuki: what the hell whats going on

Phantom: this is the first prized award the winner gets to have their souls transfereed to these 2 bodies one male and female are to the winners of course almost as if its the ressurection f the great kokuyoku and adelheid} we found these 2 bodies perfectly persereved in 2 coffins sealed in some old forgotten magic

Kazuki: { he stares and his eyes are fierce but its obvious hes still in control}

Kyo: ................* the winners souls are tranferred into the bodies of adelheid and the kokuyoku **** this tournaments a cover he just wants to resurrect them by forcefully removing their souls from kazuki and mizuki bodies but why though

With the revealing of the bodies Kale sprang to his feet. No, no no, no no no no, NO! 'Beaux, don't let Mizuki come back in here. If I don't tell you otherwise just take her and leave.' Tasha looked up at Kale and saw genuine fear in his eyes. "K-kale? He-he can't be serious, right?" Kale ignored the question and removed a pocket watch, checked it and handed it to Tasha. "Give that to Sakura, she'll understand." He marched towards Phantom.

Beaux turned his head to look inside the ball room briefly, catching a glimpse of the bodies and his father moving towards Phantom. 'Dad, what are you doing?' 'Just obey me. Don't make me make it an order.' 'Like that would stop me, but fine. I'll do as you say, just promise me you'll come back.'...'Dad? Father!?' 'I'm sorry, I can't, just keep her safe. I don't want you to go through what I did.' Beaux turned back to Mizuki, his body had become stiff. He smiled, weakly at her and then bent down to kiss her. "Come on, let's move somewhere a little more private." He didn't wait for a reply and just ushered Mizuki over towards an alcove between a pair of pillars, trying to keep himself between her and the bodies though he looked back into the room to watch Kale briefly and he bit his lip. When they had reached the alcove he kissed Mizuki again, but noted that there was a spot of blue blood on her lips. He quickly wiped his mouth to remove what little blood his teeth had drawn and frowned. "Sorry, father just said something that made me cringe." It was flimsy, he knew, even if it was true. He doubted she would just let it go, especially since he had been agitated enough to dig into his lip so much.

Kale stopped as close to Phantom as he dared go, without risking anybody attacking him. "Phantom, I respectfully request a private audience with you, now." He must realize what this will mean. Does he have a death wish or something? Those two will be fighting even harder now. Adelheid might even work with Mizuki to get her body back. Those two are already powerful enough without their original bodies, and yeah he's strong, but even he would be overwhelmed by them. Assuming they could put their differences aside for a second and let one of them attack him.

Tasha walked quickly over to Sakura. "What's Kale doing?" She whispered to the other woman. "Is he planning on attacking Phantom or something? That would be suicide, even for him. Wouldn't it? And even if he did win, what good would that do him? He's already got unnatural long life and godly powers. Is he planning on destroying the bodies?" Tasha clutched the watch tightly. "Oh, he said to give this to you, said you'd know what it meant." She grudgingly extended the watch to Sakura, she so wanted to take a look inside. If she did she would see only a pocket watch, opposite the face of the watch is a picture of the entire group from before, at Kale and Bella's wedding. The only oddities about the watch was that the time was wrong, and it was going in reverse.

Kyo: Damn { he runs and stops a few feet away and he starts to stumble around} hey man this is some party I cant wait to fight this is gonna be fun ohh man I'm so tired ohh ohh { he falls over and it looks like he passed out} Kale back off now its to risky to start anything in thia group of competitors and guests no matter whazt our goal we'll look be screwed we have to think about this when we head back dont do anything rash understand

Kazuki: saya time to go outside { he walks outside with saya and follows beaux and mizuki} ............................ hold it!........ we have a bit of a problem welll thats what the kokuyoku says and hes pretty pissed inside of me and hes trying pretty hard to break free

What? Does he think I'm gonna do, attack him? I'm not that rash. He looked back at Tasha. Oh, her. I should have known better. Kale knelt down next to Kyo, ostensibly checking his pulse. "Relax Kyo, its me, I'm just going to try and talk him out of this. We'll talk later, if he doesn't outright kill me." He stood up, lifted Kyo onto his shoulder, and set him in a chair. He turned back towards Phantom. "Well, what do you say, can we talk in private, or do you really feel the need to be surrounded by all of these people?"

The blood left on her lips sent an almost seductive scent to Mizuki's senses, momentarely inticing her. Crap... she thought, pulling her lips into her mouth to quickly lick it away before it could begin bothering her. "It's alright, Beaux...Are you sure you're okay, though?" she asked as she looked up at his lips. The blood was all gone now, and her gaze easily fell back into a concerned look.

Before he could answer, however, Kazuki and Saya appeared. Kazuki's words struck Mizuki as odd until she felt a sudden cringe in her stomach. She instinctively slid her arms around her waist and bit at her own lip, drawing a thin line of blood down her chin. "What the..." she said under her breath, her gaze at the ground below her now.

"You will win this competition at no cost. This I assure you...I will have the prize as my own, and not even your beloved lover will come between us and the prize," the same female voice from before practically screamed at Mizuki, causing her to cringe once more.

"Adelheid...What do you..want so badly with a...stupid prize?" she dared ask back.

"Hmm. I'll let you see for yourself when you win, dear..Now go and prepare yourself. Learn what you can. However, know that all the powers I once had shall also be yours for the time being.."

Sakura took the watch carefully, opening it as soon as Tasha had handed it over. Immediately, tears stung at her eyes, and she traced her finger over the image sentamentally. What are you doing, Kale? Sakura thought to herself, her gaze lifting from the image, but finding Kale directly after. "He can't let this happen....None of us can..We need to get Kazuki and Mizuki out of here as soon as possible, Tasha. For now, however, just let Kale do whatever it is he's got in mind...Kale's never been the brash type, afterall. He thinks things through thourally before he strikes."

"He wants their powers, no doubt, Kyo...If he gets his hands on their souls, he can then take their powers, or even worse, have them battle once more and cause even more destruction than they did the last go around..We have to stop this from happening at all cost.."

Kyo: * yea theirs no doubt we have t stop him but looks like the time on that seal on mizuki is begining to wear out this event is pushing the kokuyoku and adellheid to their limit they want to break free and settle wat they started all those years ago I wont let that happen and uhh can you come getr me Im supposed ti ve wasted so it swouldnt looks good if I got up by myself ........................ I still dont think kales plan is going to work after all}

Kazuki: hey mizuki sorry if I freaked you out but dont worry I or beaux will be here to stop you from turning into princess badass or princess evil dont you worry about a thing

a shadow on the ground appears next to kyo and from it arises Zakk and Seth "yo What sup I came to kick ass and eat bubble gum, and I'm just about out of gum." Zakk is chewing gum Seth stretches "Mhmm what he said cept' he wouldn't give me his gum." Seth aims his guns at the phantom " Back off asshole." Zakk licks his lips and spits the gum out, okay now i'm out of gum." Zakk looks around anyone wanna fill me in before i start making more paperwork on my desk for this thing?"

Kyo: no you idiotS! { he grabs them and then runs out the door} Zakk I'm gonna kick your ass for this cant you wait will we get home first RAHH!!! { he stops outside the door and in the hall} okahy you 2 need to stay calm and chill here we have no idea what this phantoms guy is capable off so RELAX! { he walks back in his head hanging down and he walks up to sakura and tasha} were screwed its all over only a idiot would think that theres nothing up with us

Phantom: hmmm if that is what you wish lord dragon king then show the way I'd be happy to discuss any or if all matters concerning this tournament

Seth growls "Ngh, we never get any action." Seth hits the wall Zakk laughs "Thats why i used to think i wasn't a main character, but by making myself the devil im automaticly imprortant to the plot... at least i hope so...

Kale nodded his head in appreciation. Kale walked through a side door, Phantom following close behind. Although he himself had never been here, another dragon king had, or at least he assumed they had since he felt he knew where he was going. He stopped inside a small vacant room. He drew a circle on the ground and a table with two lazy boy's on either side appeared within the room. Kale sat in one and Phantom sat in the other. He was either able to tell that Kale wasn't trying to trick him or he just didn't care thought Kale.

"You'll have to forgive me if I state anything that you already know, but both the Kokuyoku and Adelheid could likely destroy you if they get their true bodies back, and even when they aren't in bodies they'd still be fairly formidable, and might even work together just to kill you for what you've done with the castle. So why would you do this? Put their bodies up as the prizes. You're strong, yes. Even a baby could tell that. Likely not strong enough to stop them though. Nobody alive now asides from them still knows how strong they were at their peek, well almost nobody. So why are you doing this madness. Why not just take one of the bodies for yourself or destroy them?"

Phantom: I understand your points but wheres the fun in that I was there first hand when their battle first begone they were able to lay waste to everything with in a 100 meters of them with the clashing of their blades its because of their battle that half of the dragon valley was annilated and made into the stae its in now but I guess I have many reasons for doing one for kicks 2 to experience their battle one last time but what if I told you theres a 3rd reason I have no intention of letting them kill me I just simply wish to give them their bodies back but I guess I have one more plan up my sleeve that I cant put into play yet

Kale threw his arms to the side in sarcastic and dramatic 'of course' gesture. "For kicks, oh well then that makes perfect sense. Wait, hold on, rewind a tick. You were there? I mean actually there, you witnessed their last fight. That would make you, well, ridiculously old. Heck, I'm only well, I'm not quite sure how old I am, stopped keeping track ya see, but you've aged quite gracefully nary a line on your face. So, how was the fight? Actually uh, another question any chance you'd be willing to tell me your third plan? I mean, quite frankly, I don't have a whole lot of time left myself, so I'm a virtual dead man and if you can't trust a dead man, who can you trust?"

Phantom: sorry but someone migh try to kill me if I let you in on the plan and yes I was there its thanks tomy lineage where I come from you see I'm a hyrbid of a dragon and a vampire so I age terribly slow shocking though right a vampire and a dragon actuallly got together in those times of war the dragon was close to the dragon king of that time and the vampire was somewhat of the right hand man of the kokuyoku back then I can only tell you this as advice watch your backs when the tournament starts there are others watching from the shadows for the progression of the current kokuyokus powers if that is all then I'm afraid it wouldnt be tood good if the host of the party wasent there for the party wouldnt you agree so but I can telll how that the fight even made the original wolf god and demon king shake in fear at the tremendous power they unleashed it was almost like if they continued they both would of survived and the world would have been left in turmoil

Kale leaned back in his chair. "Not terribly shocking, its looking like Beaux and Mizuki are going to get together, and I'd read something about that happening, unfortunately there weren't many records in the archives about it whether that was the will of the king or not I don't know." He got up, stretched, and walked over to Phantom. "You seem honorable enough, and its about time you got your inheritance." In Kale's hand Drakbane appeared and he placed it on the table. "If you're worthy, and the rightful owner, it will take on a form more befitting for you. Of course, should you injure a dragon with it, without just cause, it will become even more useless than it is right now and perhaps cause some feedback damage to you." He bent low and kissed Phantom on the forehead. "That was my second reason for wanting to speak with you. Duties of dragonking, never know what to expect." Kale walks towards the door. "Oh, and thanks for the info, good luck in the tournament. I hope I get to fight you." He left the room and returned to the party.

Tasha glared at Kale as he smiled sheepishly and approached. "What was that about? You almost gave me and Sakura a heart attack, bastard. And what's with this watch? Its counting backwards." "More like counting down. Don't worry Sakura, it shouldn't stop today." His weak smile infuriated Tasha. "Well that's great, but what does it mean?" "I'm dying." She blinked several times, "What?" "The details are quite boring, but its enough for you to know that I'm dying. Beaux isn't reacting badly, is he?" "He knows?" "Yes, I told him shortly after I showed up, this time. I can't say exactly when it'll happen, but when I had to put Kyo down before, with Zakk's 'help', it accelerated it quite a bit. Depending on how far I get into Beaux's training before the tournament it could be before or during it." "What about your healing thing?" "Some things can't be healed." As Tasha looked at Kale she thought she could see more lines forming on his face and it sent a shiver down her spine. Years of aging occurring over the course of days. It scared her. "Alright, Tasha, we're about to leave. Sakura, I'm going to take Beaux and Mizuki with us. Let the others know. Oh, and I'll address the issue of the watch once everybody gets back."

Beaux was about to ask what was wrong with Mizuki when somebody had pushed his lips towards hers, and as curious as he was to see who had shoved him he found himself stuck for a little bit. He wasn't sure what the cause was, but he wasn't about to complain. And then Kale pulled him away.

"Alright, kids time for the two of you to go." Kale contained a chuckle as Beaux pulled away from Mizuki, somewhat flustered. I love finding loopholes in that order resisting stuff. I didn't even have to say or think anything specific.

Tasha had looked from Kale to Sakura and back as Kale and herself had walked over to Beaux and Mizuki. Even if she didn't like him much, Kale was pretty nice for a dragon. She stood and watched as Kale formed a circle of fire around them and transported them all back to the house. The watch ticked off a little faster as Kale did this.

"I agree, Kyo...We should tell them later tonight, when everything settles down some.." Sakura thought before Kale and Tasha walked away. "Thank you, Kale," she called before he was out of earshot.

"It seems Kazuki and Saya are enjoying themselves with the final dance. Well, maybe Kazuki's not enjoying the dancing part, but he doesn't look too upset about being with her.." she said with a slightly amused tone. "Kind of like you whenever we dance together, don't you think?" With her question asked, Sakura turned and glanced at Kyo, a soft smile gracing her lips now that she was certain that Kazuki and Mizuki would be safe for the moment.


Mizuki felt back to normal after Beaux had kissed her, and as they were teleported back to Saya's mansion, she reached up and felt her chin, pulling away bloodied fingertips. There's been too much blood for me tonight, she thought with a hint of sarcasm in her tone as she wiped the remaining trail of blood from her chin.

Phantom: drakbane huh I dont deserve such a item { he picks it up and it doesnt even trsansform it just remains the same} hehhaha see nothing well its not like I woul get my hopes up for it to work so wht do you think drakbane? can I weild I dont care either way

Kyo: ugh I need a drink! { he walks to the bar and starts downing shots} this story is allways depressing best to do drunk then sober

Kazuki: stubles through the door his tie his pulled down the 3 top buttons of his shirt are un buttoned and he walks up the stairs} damn what a night I need sleep........ oy Mizuki! { he stumbles through mizukis door} hey sis you know you have a very very comfortable bed i'm gonna ZZZZZZZZZZZ { he slamms onto her bed snoring up a storm}ZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! { he stands up and he walks out the door and he just walks down the hall to his own room like hes sleeping walking and unconsioisly changes into a tee shirt and shorts and he falls asleep again} ZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Kyo: ohhhhh I had to much { he starts stumbling} heh hahaha can somebody help me to my room { he starts to pass out well you know this story always makes me sad but ehhh I guess I just didnt want to have to rerember it really ohh thats right kales dying **** HEY KALE YOU DAMNED DRAGON TWISTED SON OF A BICH GET OUT HERE your not dying on my watch { he punches the wall in a furious and drunk way} I'll pay for that kale get out here we need to talk you think your gonna die then guess again you old fool hell im getting weaker too but Im not dying anytime soon so why don you just stop with the lies when I know that your not gonan die we need to speak { he falls over}

Saya: ohhhh man so tired { she walks to her room ready for bed}

Sayuri: m'lady dinner is allready for tommorow night since you all had to leave for the party

Sakura had her arm wrapped under Kyo's and across his opposite shoulder to steady him as they arrived back to Saya's house, which made walking a little tougher than usual, but with all the fights Kyo had been in, this wasn't a new thing for her. "Come on, Kyo. Let's go and get you to bed so you can sleep off all the drink you downed back at the party..."

You'll have a massive hangover tomorrow, but other than that, you should be okay, she thought more to herself than to Kyo. Afterall, his thoughts were flowing almost too freely now that he was drunk, so she had all but shut off their mental connection for the time being.
