It will be an OVA project, but the length and number of the episodes are still unknown. Thoughts and opinions?

I'm hesitant to be excited, because the first two seasons were so good and this may spoil it if they don't do it right. I'll be looking around for those blu-ray discs, assuming they're released in the US. Either way we'll see how things go. I still need to buy the anime and the manga.

The manga never ended, the show just stopped when it ran out of material. Since this is by the very same staff at Madhouse, aside from the format change it will probably be as if it never ended. And the switch to OVA is probably so that they can cover the single outstanding plot arc, El Baile de la Muerte, without throwing in filler. It would be interesting if they maintained this format for the run of the manga...

Is that a good move though? Since the El Baile de la Muerte arc was about twice as long as the Fujiyama Gangsta's Paradise arc. You think they would just run it on that story arc alone, just assuming from the facts stated in the article?Kuukai wrote:The manga never ended, the show just stopped when it ran out of material. I guess that's true, though maybe they're shortening it. Fujiyama Gangsta Paradise was actually kinda mind-numbing in my personal opinion, a full season devoted to one arc might be a bit much...
