I looked over at Akira, "Yeah, I've had to fight some people in the forest... It got annoying, but I'm really good now. Plus I have that.". I thought to myself for a moment, "I wonder if using my rune in the tournament would be cheating... Eh, not really. I'll just use a basic plan for the tournament.". I looked at Akira and said, "So when is the tournament starting?".

((majorly late reply >.>'.. Also, Eko-Senturia is operating on another forum as well as this one.. and over there it's already picked up 6 members within 2 days xD. Also, I'll Post Rumeria's pic with this post, just so you all know what she looks like..))

As Forte dashed into the Central Pavillion, a bunch of Arcanists all turned to face him. Forte was panting, tired, and annoyed. All of these combined only seemed to make him even more fearsome to those who had heard of him. And yet, to his surprise, around half the people in the room hadn't heard of him. They all sneered at him with distaste,"Oh look... It's the princess' pet. Say, aren't you a little too into dress up to take part in this contest?" Forte twitched as Teirala walked up behind him,"Just ignore them Forte, they're all snobs.. you can take youyr anger out on them when the tournament starts.." They began to laugh. hard,"The anger of a lose pet versus my strength? I think it's perfectly obvious who will win that battle! Aaahahaha!" A Vein pulsed on Forte's head,"Now I see why Dragon hates arcanists. These bastards give us a bad name.."

The one who had bee making fun of Forte jolted, then walked over to him, grabbing a bundle of his cloak near his neck,"What did you say, Little boy? I'm warning you that even if you are the princess' pet, I'm not tolerating such chat from a worm like you." Forte's eyes glowed red through his mask,"Oh? Looks like the 'pet' has cut deep." He wrenched himself free from the arcanist's grasp,"This pavillion is for resting, not for fighting. Save your snobbery for the arena. I'll dig a grave for it when we meet again.." The arcanists on the side of the one that had assaulted Forte seemed dumbstruck, and incredibly annoyed, they all huffed up, turning away from Forte, who rested his head in his hand as he headed towardswhere the princess was seated.

He bowed in front of Rumeria,"It appears as though I managed to make it on time." He sighed,"I didn't know that Arcanists like that lot over there were common in tournaments like these.." Rumeria sighed,"I know.. they all come to showcase their 'pure-bred' abilities with no regard for honoring their opponent whatsoever.. though Forte, they are probably as skilled as you are.." Forte smirked under his mask,"That was 2 years ago princess... I have changed tremendously since then.." Rumeria seemed puzzled, but shook it off, deciding not to ask,"Either way, I was about to start taking in Volunteer fighters from the stands that never got the chance to officially register. If you like you could come with me a-.." Forte shook his head,"I'm afraid I'll have to decline that offer. There are still a few techniques that I have to get to grips with before I fight.. and just checking, but does the '1 item rule' still apply to all tournament members?" Rumeria nodded,"Yes. Each participant is allowed one item to aid them with their magic, be it a tome, a sword, or even a guardian sealed within a portable stone!" Forte grinned under his mask again,"Thank you, that's good to know, your highness.."

Akira: have you ever fought against arachanists their not uncommon in this area I've only comeacross a few but theres alot of them here today so I think the best way to win is to take away their magic as fast as possible

"Arachanists?". I nodded my head to side and said, "So, do they use spider magic?". He was obviously appalled at my stupidity, as I could see an anime-like sweat drop falling down his head. I tried to forget about Akira's look and said, "So, how do we take away their magic?".

Luca had helped Dragon sign up "So then...you think I can use Alice with summon magic?" Luca looked at him, "And how the hell would you put her back in the orb when you were done?" He talked as they headed toward the pavilion, only to meet more arcanists. Dragon stared wide-eyed at them, "Hey Luca...you read the tournament rules right?" He took off his eye patch, and a wooden one was in place, it had a special rune on it, completely non-elemental. "I want to try out reject magic...and maybe" he pointed at the fake eye, but she slammed her gauntlet against the back of his head. "You can't use trigger magic, even if you only go as far as ignition." Dragon sighed. "But what about if I count this as my weapon?" "Your tattooed runes are good enough. Hell They might even seal some." She took out her sword, which was of fine quality. "I personally can't wait to show them my magic type." She glared at him, "You can't use Armour-type magic...I want to use it, deal?" Dragon grinned "Then I can use trigger magic...once...only once." She sighed and nodded. "How do I use summon magic to summon someone from an item? Do I rub it three times and give it an order?"

Akira: { face palm} not arachnids archanists! { he fixes his posture} okay well simpe to take away their magic all you need to do is take away their weapon or tome with out it they wont be as strong as they were before and from then on just fighting upclose shouldnt be to hard

I thought to myself for a moment, trying to piece together the puzzle that was archanists. "Spiders... Not spiders... Magicians... Take away weapon...". I made a fist and put it in a palm and said, "I see! We just need to take away the mage's weapon!". I took my whip out and said, "That'll be easy with my whip!".

Akira: uhhhhhhh............ a whip..... { he thinks for a second trying to figure out what type of fighter she is} ohhhh thats not a very good hobby not to healthy either { misora punches him in the face} ohhhh leave me alone I was just kidding god!

"You pervert... My hobby is taking care of animals.". I looked out a window and said, "Ahh, the breeze feels nice...". I thought to myself for a moment, "Wait... Maybe there is a prize.". I got into a fiery mood all of a sudden and looked to Akira, "Is there a prize for winning!? Like food, money, water!?".

Akira: hmmmmmmmmmm a prize dont know hopefully money cause were in dire need of it cause after we visit daedronia we have to cross the ocean on a boat and with out the right amount of money were pretty much screwed and taking care of animals I dont see any.................. prove it

I took out a small whistle, which looked like an ocarina, and blew into it, playing a short tune. All of a sudden, a lion crawled up through the window. Akira looked shocked as I petted the lion as if it was just a tiny little kitten. "Aww, isn't it cute Akira?".

Akira: AH! {he falls down but then stands infront of the lion so no one can see it} are you insane!? I was thinking maybe like a birds or something but a lion is going to cause panic among these people! but I guess I have no choice but to belive you know

I gave Akira a funny look, "It's just a lion... I don't get what's so scary about it.". I saw as people were screaming and running around. "Eh, whatever.". I grabbed my whistle and blew into it, provoking the lion to leave. The chaos ended. "Happy now Akira? Now what do you want? A dolphin?".

Akira: no no no its fine I belive you allright { he sits on the floor} *sigh* thats a pretty interesting a billity though how the hell are you able to do that............ and when the hell is this tournament starting!?

There was the sound of a bellowing horn as the tournament announcer walked onto the platform position to the north of the arena, which seemed to have a floor made of stone, that had been covered with a thin layer of sand. She called out across the stands usng a voice projection rune,"Ladies and gentlemen!" There was a roar from the crowd,"We welcome you to the annual Dandroenian Gladius tournament!" The crowd roared wilder than ever,"We have quite the line up of Soldiers in this years tournament, however, due to privacy issues, none of them will be revealed until their turn to fight has actually arrived!" The crowd began to hush. I was waiting for something,"So without further ado... I call our first contestants to the Stage! Step forward, Forte and Ryin!" As Forte walked out of his tent, he saw a familiar face enter from across the arena. He grimaced behind his mask at her. She smirked at him as he made his way to the center of the arena.

"Well well well.. look what the cat dragged in!" Forte remained calm,"save it for later. I don't have time to deal with you." Ryin seemed annoyed at this statement,"Ohhh? You shouldn't talk to your elders that way, Forte-san.." Forte was annoyed, but still managed to cool himself down,"I don't see you as an upperclassma, Ryin, so stop dwelling on the past and get back into the present. After all.. I've changed a hell of a lot since back then.." Ryin smirked,"Oh really? Well, I'd like to see you try and defeat my Amazing Arcane Pow..."

She was cut short as Forte took out his tome from the book bag underneath his arm. Forte flicked the book open, then let go of it. It seemed to hover in the air in front of him,"Lets see... smething that will win the fight, but still keep her alive... ah yes. Here it is.." He coughed slightly, raising his hand up,"A fuson of twin polarities, the frigid tundra, the burning volcano.." Two orbs appeared behind Forte, then formed two wings,"pull back the energy..." the wings extended backwards,"then release thine might into thy foe!" The wings flapped forward once, and two waves of energy shot out, hiting Ryin square on, and knocking her into the far arena wall. She collapsed to the floor, feeling rather dazed. The tome slotted itself back into Rein' book bag as his 'wings' vanished. The part of the audience - and most of the arcanists - that weren't from Dandroenia all looked at the battlefield with expressions that almost seemed to say,"what the hell?"

Akira: hmmmm { a surging pain runs through his body as his rune glows through his glove and through out misora and the rest of the contestants ears including forte ring the crys and sherks of deapair and terror} AHHHHH!!!! { he smashes his hand against the wall and then noises stop and the rune stops glowing}

"AHHHH?!". I fell on the floor, but then realized the pain had stopped. "Ugh.... What the hell was that?". I looked at Akira who seemed to have experienced similar pain. "It seems not everyone experienced it, so... Maybe... It's related to the runes.".

Akira: { he listens to misora for a second} ehhhhh well I dont know I just got a bit of a head ache a pretty bad one but that guy was pretty strong Id hate to fight him but then again it would be loads of fun to fight him if you think about it

"He doesn't look THAT tough... I bet I could beat him!". I could tell Akira was about to say something on the lines of, "Yeah right!", but before he could, I said, "With my charm that is.". Akira laughed and then realized what I meant. "Anyhow, he does look tough. In a full on battle, I don't think I could take him.".

Akira: { he looks at his hand for a few seconds and he gets a look on his face} *sigh* I could probably but I'd rather not resort to anything dirty I can beat him with just my sword abbilities this will be a snap { he leans back against the wall with his hands behind his head} besides he doesnt look so tough with out his magic he shouldnt be too hard
