"Thank you, Kyo..." Sakura whispered in return to his promise. Kazuki ran by after she had spoken, leaving just as quickly as he had arrived. Sakura couldn't help but giggle lightly, looking back up at Kyo as she did. "He truely is just like you, you know. He never rests, even after training multiple time today alone, and he's determined to achieve any idea that comes to mind, no matter how exhausted he is afterwords..."

After stifling a yawn, Mizuki added, "If I can manage to learn any more anytime soon, that is," onto Beaux's sentence. "It doesn't really matter right now, though. Maybe tomorrow I can work some more on my technique, but for now, I just want to stay here with you."

Her eyes fell closed again as she fell silent, and it was harder for her to force them open this time. Fighting off another yawn, she sleepily asked, "Do you have something to talk about that will help keep me awake, Beaux? I still don't want to sleep yet.."

Beaux thought for a moment he wasn't much of a person for talking, but it was Mizuki. 'I could tell a story if you want.' No, not necessary. I can handle it. 'As you wish.' "Well, let's see uh the weather's nice heh." He looks out the window for some inspiration and lets out a sigh as he does so the window ices up. Magic...I'll need to learn to control that too.

"I had this friend, he had a knack for getting himself into trouble. Liked to pull pranks you know. One time he broke into the principal's house and died all of his white dress shirts pink. The next day at school he walked around in one of them as if nothing had happened. He called Ryan to his office during the last class of the day. The man had been going through the list of pranksters all day and it seems that the only one who managed to keep a straight face was Ryan. He ended up getting off that time since he managed to be respectful. Another time though, and I helped him with this, we took everything from the office and put it in the exact same configuration only it was in the courtyard. Heh, he got suspended for almost a month and had to do all of the work on his own. Fortunately Garage tutored him during that time. After he got back he didn't risk pulling another prank for a year, apparently Garage is brutal as a teacher, but Ryan got much higher marks after that. Maybe he just didn't want to risk needing a tutor again or maybe he learned a lot from Garage. Hm, his birthday's in a month." He gazes at the iced up window. He'll be turning 61 this year. Has it really been so long? He squeezes Mizuki, hugging her close.

Tasha continued to glare at Kale who just raised his eyebrows curiously. "He's a d-" "Tasha!" He gave her a warning look and she rolled her eyes. "He's a dragon king, exactly like all the ones before him, he just acts nice." "Please Tasha, I know there's been some bad blood between us in the past but-" "Bad blood? Is that what you're calling it?" "Look, I'm not like the dragon kings past." "We both know the only reason you never bothered trying anything with me was because of Beaux." "No its not, I'm not some inbred lizard like the others, yes I know what you think of me. It was a long line of them that only ruled because of blood. They had gotten to the point where a father killed his own child for fear of rebellion. Fortunately, it was also at the point where they had weakened themselves horribly allowing me to end the line." In fact you were the one who found us, found Beaux, the first time." "I guess those of us who share the same gift are just drawn to each other, even while they're dormant." "Perhaps. "Yes." "Then send, me, back." Kale looks away and continues working on his lollipop. "Kale." "I can't." "Why not?" "It's a little late, they want you in the tournament now. So, you fight, or everyone dies. Well, they try to kill everyone at least." He glances meaningfully at little Kazuki. "And I can't risk losing anyone, a fight that big and there's no telling what could happen. The best odds of everyone surviving, that we have, are at the tournament."

"It's not nessicarely a bad thing at all," Sakura said in agreement as she took a seat next to Kyo on the couch. She pulled her bare feet up beside her and leaned over, resting her head against Kyo's shoulder, making herself comfortable before she continued talking. "And you're very sweet, dear. You really should rest, though. You deserve to take a break for a little while, and besides, with the tournament quickly approaching, you need to make sure you're in the best shape possible."

Her eyes slipped over to the side of his face and her smile tilted into a light smirk momentarely. "You know I'm right, Kyo."

Mizuki laughed quietly, sleep sneaking more and more into her tone by the second. "I never really thought of you as the prankster type, Beaux...I guess that's due to Kazuki and Dad playing so many pranks on one another, though. Whenever I think of pranksters, my thoughts fly straight to them."

As she reclined into his arms further, due mostly to the fact that he had pulled her closer moments before, she sighed to herself and looked out the window. A large blast of what looked like ki caused the trees surrounding the balcony to rustle rather violently and the icy film on the window to begin fadining away, and in a split second she thought of the only person of whom the ki most likely belonged to. Kazuki... "It looks like Kazuki's out doing what I should be doing. I just hope he doesn't push himself too much again out there.." she said, wondering mentally if she would even have time to practice much of anything else before the tournament began. I need to quit thinking of this stupid tournament for now...We have plenty of time before it starts..

"Beaux, I...." Mizuki said a few seconds later. She was trying to keep a conversation going to keep herself awake, but it was hard to think of any good topics with her halfway falling asleep every other minute. She bit her lower lip gently and paused, recalling the odd dream she had had just minutes ago. She wanted to ask about it, but on the other hand, she felt kind of silly putting so much thought into a little nightmare. "Nevermind. It's not important," she finally said softly, trying to mentally place how it could have felt as familiar as it had.

Although, if Kazuki's doing oversoul, well somebody knows just how reckless Kazuki is although they may have forgotten how little control he has. Fortunately, he's also tough enough to not to die getting it right. He kissed her again. "Don't worry there's plenty of time to train. So in the meantime you can tell me just what it is you thought was important enough to bring up, but not important enough to elaborate on. So go ahead, finish your thought."

Tsubaki: dont over do it and theres one more thing you should know its just a feeling but a tiny feeling that yo and beaux arent going to be the only ones with us soul weapons which means that alot of them probably have mastered over soul along time ago and I can tell you they probably have alot of control so if you want to stand a chancewe have to keep practicing

Kazuki: got it all right { he swings the blade a few times before he gets into his stance while holding the sheath in the other hand} .......................... * he breathes softly* { he starts practicing } ohh man I find it hard to practice with out some one to spar against and wel old man beaux and is with my sister I need too get this out of my head allright come on I want to spar we only have like an hour before we have to leave for that damned party lets go

Kale walks outside to where Kazuki is. "Yes yes, very nice. Oversoul right? His idea or yours? Or I'm sorry, is your blade a she? Probably not yours. I bet you're just dying to try it. Kids can hardly ever wait to play with their new toys. Don't worry, Beaux was just the same when he was your age. Although his toys were a tad more "normal" for his age. A car rather than a sword with a soul. Now then, shall we?" He unsheathes Drakbane and gestures for Kazuki to come. "And do try not to hurt yourself."

Kazuki: { he looks over towards kale} huh?..................... yeah tsubaki's a girl but shes the soul of the blade ragnarok so at first I though it would be a dude because of the name of the sword apparently that had nothing to do with it at all so you know it was her Idea she said it would help with the synchro rate and bosst our power over soul huh does that mean beaux has mastered it or have you mastered your self when you had a weapon but if you really want to try me then here I come

Tsubaki: no Kazuki becareful because in oversoul the body uses up more energy then fightning normally we have to be able to release a equal amount of our energy at the same out put and he have to focus and not waste it like you normmaly do

Kazuki: I got it allready allright then lets go old man kale { he runs and he smashes the blade into kales drakbane} graahhh { he pushes him back and he starts clashing with kale and the way Kazukis fightning makes it seem like hes not the one fightning} HA! { he starts striking fiercly and he jumps back a few feet and then gets surprised by kales blade} AH! { he blocks it and a emmense amount of ki explodes from the blade as it connects with drakbane} HHHHHHAAAHH!! { he starts clashing with kale}

Sakura waited before responding to Kyo's question. What he said had made perfect sense, and if it ended up turning into that, she didn't know what they'd all have to do. "I know you won't, and I'm not worried about that...We'll figure everything out when we get there, though, so let's just put thoughts of the tournament aside for now and just focus on prepairing ourselves for what may happen. It's all we can truely do until we find out for sure, afterall.."

After the day Kyo had had, she honestly wanted him to rest, even if it did mean he missed out on the "party" they were all planning to attend later that evening. Enough of them were going as of now to learn about what they would need to know and to scope out the other fighters, which were the important parts. "As for you sleeping, go ahead. If you feel like you should come with us, let me know and I'll wake you up before we leave, but if not, just stay here and rest. I think enough of us will be there for them to not miss one person, afterall."

"It's really nothing important, Beaux," Mizuki said, trying her hardest to escape having to finish her previous thought. Sigh...He probably won't let it drop, so I might as well just say it and get making myself look stupid over with now.

"It was just, well, I had this really odd dream when I was sleeping before. It felt really familiar somehow, kind of like the dreams where you relive a past memory, but it couldn't have possibly been a memory of mine..I guess it could have been because of the overuse of my fighting technique, but I don't know...Do you think I'm just thinking too hard on it?" She looked up at him and bit her lip lightly. Curiousity was clearly reflected in her expression as she watched Beaux, half-heartedly expecting him to laugh at her stupid question and reply, "Yes."

Kyo: Thanks but I think I'll just close my eyes for a minute and th- he falls asleep on the couch and hes not snoring or anything hes sleeping peacfully so its evident that he needed to sleep since he was really tired} ......................................................... zzzzzzzzz

Sakura smiled to herself when she was certain Kyo was asleep and layed her head back on his shoulder, looking back toward the tv. She managed to slide the remote off of the arm of the couch and turn the volume down a little bit without waking him up, though she knew he was deep asleep anyways. Sleep well, Kyo...You deserve it.. she thought to herself, closing her eyes as well. Though she knew she wouldn't fall asleep, that didn't mean she couldn't rest and relax a little as well.

I wonder what tonight will be like...No doubt rough, but hopefully we can just go and get back before anything 'big' can happen..

He straps his blade to his back and stands next to Kazuki, arms crossed with a smile on his face. He lets out a huff and fire accompanies his breath.

Beaux thinks for a minute. "It might indeed have been caused by your fighting style. What was the dream about?" It might indeed be becauseof her fighting style, but...is that vampiress resurfacing? If she used the same fighting style before that might be why she's getting stronger. If she comes back again I don't know what I'll do. Probably just let her drain me this time.

It looked like it took place on an old castle ground, or something like that, and there was screaming..A lot of screaming..." Mizuki's voice fell as she finished her last sentence and a cold chill embraced her body tightly at the thought of the echoed screams of the people from her dream, causing her to draw closer into Beaux unconsciouslly.

"There were also a lot of people fighting. It was hard to tell who was fighting for any individual side, but I knew for a fact that there were two definate sides. It was kind of like I was seeing it all through the eyes of someone there, which isn't that uncommon with dreams, I know, but that's the reason it felt so familiar, I suppose..I don't know, Beaux. It's really hard to explain without making it sound like I'm just trying to overplay it all. Like I said before, it's not really important, so let's just forget it. It was just a dream, afterall.."

Tsubaki: I told you allready you pressed on attacking with out thinking about it and the more you attacked the more your energy depeleted we need to work together in the oversoul state cause if you attack with out thinking this whole oversoul form is based around your amount of ki relased if you release to much it will become unstable and it will drain your amount of spirtual energy well in your case your vampiric energy get it now we need to keep practicing and be able to relase the right amount and focus when were fightning got it!

HaruHaru: hmmm well then { his oversoul releases and his snowboard turns to normal} allright then { he fixes the bage on his back and he walks inside the house} hey wow this place is huge

Adelheid's." He didn't want to go any further into his theory, but she wanted to know what he thought even if she was saying to forget it, that was probably the fear talking. "Using your current fighting style might be inadvertently awakening her. I'm not saying you shouldn't use it. It's impossible to say why you had the dream. So your fighting style might have nothing to do with it, and besides trying to learn a new style would probably get you killed. Nobody can learn a new fighting style that fast, except maybe Kazuki, but that's just because he seems able to copycat any ability he sees used."
