Are there any people here you find particularly interesting? I personally find the most interesting of all to be AuraTwilight. (though she probably woulden't bother talking to me as I think she finds me annoying what with my ovan/adeptrouge theroy and all.) Another is Kuukai (mostly because we are looking into the same field of technology if I am not mistake.) and last would be TheSorrow. (Gives me someone to talk to about YGO and even though I have yet to bring it up Higarashi.)

What about the rest of you?

to be honest, what interests me about this board, is the fact that one minute, everyone can create a brilliant thread, with no flaws, that is perfect for chatting to each other... and then systematically destroy that thread a few seconds later. Granted, I'm usually one of the culprits, but.. meh :U...

the second thing that I find to be of interest, is the fact that I while I suffer from Asperges, and used to be socially withdrawn (ayup! didn't know that then did ya?), this site was one of thet main things that helped me conquer my fear of social interaction with other people

If i were to say who in this forum i find particularly interesting...i'd pretty much be seeing the whole list of active members for the past 10 months or more. Seriously, every member in here is interesting and unique in their own ways, and the forum itself is so interesting and full of people who all have an unique personallity and traits. In other forums, members can be all like each other and the only thing that differentiates them is their username, and they might not be any close to each other apart from posts; they just join, post whatever they have to post, and don't return or talk much to anyone...in some other forums, members pretty much hate everyone, or are "closed in groups", not talking or getting any kind of connection with others, and new members have no choice but to become like them, or be ignored and leave (the most recent forum i've been to was like that...you just can't approach members or feel welcomed at all unless you're their friend for who knows how long). Here, however, even though the admins don't really encourage chatting as it happens with other forums, you can take part in any discussion freely, and the discussions themselves get you the feeling to post because they're very interesting and you want to share your opinion or ask about some doubts you got...and since then, you just don't stop posting and start knowing members that way too, members that you can love or hate, but you just can't ignore or forget them. There can be very nice members, and very nice discussions, as well as members who just want to kill and discussions you wish they never happened and can't see why they appear...but they all happen, and even with all that, you just end up loving the forums and have a good time while posting here and talking to some members. You can learn alot from the members in here, and not just in knowledge of the series or information about anime or whatever topic arises (you learn alot about those topics too), and, even if it might sound ridiculous, some members you meet in here can end up becoming very important to you. And, on top of that, it's also the best forum about the .Hack series. There's always updated information, your questions about anything regarding the series can be solved quickly, debates about them can happen at any moment and grow into awesome discussions, and...we have AuraTwilight, who knows and understands the series way better than the actual creators, and MasterZED, best .Hack player with godly knowledge involving the games, both in gameplay and the actual data and coding they have :D

Honestly, this is one of the bests and nicest forum i've been on, and i do love being in here so much. There's also no member who i just don't find interesting and unique, whether good or bad XD (Of course, random members who only come to ask and leave might be the exception...but then again, they ARE the "random members who only come to ask and leave", no forum can be complete without them XD)

And what's with the poll question? I can only imagine the topic soon turning into a debate about it, and i know i'm going to read it all if it does happen XD

Hmm. Well, it's been a long time since I was extremely active on the forum. But the one I think was the most awesome was MOLD. I mean, I still chat with her on DA, but man. She was the best Silabus fan ever.
I also liked CD, who is another I chat with on DA. I think I'm forgeting someone..
Oh, NK is pretty cool too.

Yes, this forums do cotain interesting people, I havent met that many people but TheSorrow is pretty interesting when you talk one to one out of forums, Gem crim aswel. But I think one person I really enjoy talking to is Azure Knight.

Also kind of look up to Kuukai, and Akuta aswel, he has a nice blog though I dont follow it, inspired me to make my own.

Kinda mad at d5t (>-O); and some other users here, you guys make me want to explode sometimes but in the end I will wish

I simply prefer creation. Having something built only to be destroyed later is a big waste of material.

I don't find anybody here to be interesting because I just don't know you all well enough. The only one to come close to gaining my attention is AuraTwilight, and that's only because he/she is nearly everywhere on these forums.

With out creation nothing can be destroy. Its much easier to destroy something than to create something. I must say that I'm thankful to meet people on this forums. To me the ultimate destruction will happen when America someday falls which leads to the battle of Armageddon. If I was to be evil I would destroy the world with what I like to call MUD. Agreed. Unless someone says or believes otherwise, and if they do then i don't care, Mirus is now the Idol of the forums.

I voted for create something to destroy. I won't go as far as creating life or talking about what the humans have invented or not...just about me and games. I create many stuff, then put them all against each other until only one "survives", then learn from that and create once again, and have them destroy each other once again, and so on, until i'm happy as i reach "perfect" results or just as a past-time. I do that on YGO decks, Digimon and Pokemon training, AIs for strategy games, and even random spinning thingies i collected years ago; i made different combinations with them and had them spin against the other until i came up with something that would knock down the rest without being knocked down XD

I Think part of what you said is right, and then the other part is totally wrong. Oppression Doesn't really lead to invention, and war on it's own doesn't create invention. But all of that wonderful spending to get the upper hand in war is probably one of the most driving forces in invention. Hell, the early prototypes and concept for the internet where on the governments defense budget.
