Because Toei is a ****.

(Funimation is running a survey right now though, and one of the options is a re-dub of the whole series.)

ew, unless its re-dubed with original voices/cast i wouldnt like it.. (which im sure it wont be if they do)

never cared for re-dubs without the original voices/cast, especially if its something you watched a lot and enjoyed.. then it will just sound weird with new people.

But in Sailor Moon's case the original cast was terrible. The dub is a relic of a bygone age where you can barely make a case for the dub being good. Campy, maybe. Nostalgic, sure. But good? Umm... If I recall correctly, the director for one of the movie dubs didn't even speak English. And I don't think it was even one cast, I think it changed a lot. Besides, it would be great if they redubbed them with the actual plot. Have you ever tried watching it dubtitled? It's like there are two different stories going on at the same time!

i wasnt actually talking about sailor moon exactly more like, in all with most. but i do agree that a lot out there had crappy dubbed voices, and would not mind a re-dub.

in this case, it wouldnt matter too much to me since i was not the biggest fan of sailor moon anyway lol.
