I never thought they would actually attempt to do this after I made the other topic a while ago, but it looks like I was wrong. Here's the interview, explaining about the game's concepts, gameplay, and possible ties and connections with the movie itself, SAW VI, which is also going to be released in October. According to the dude in the video, the game is basically split in thirds. 1/3 puzzle, 1/3 exploration, and 1/3 combat...Yes COMBAT. Actual fighting. It's coming out for the PS3, Xbox360, and PC in October. My, what a surprising turn of events.

making a movie of a survival horror game worked well.. but only in ONE FREAKING CASE (Silent Hill). If the makers of this game are hoping for a massive landslide in terms of sales, simply because they reversed the tradition. they've got another thing coming. the /b/tards will be on those developers like bloodhounds >.>

Silent hill movie was a bit boring imo, actually a lot of horror movies that include a woman running from a bunch of horror monsters screaming and getting scared every 5mins of the movie was boring...nobodyknows wrote:making a movie of a survival horror game worked well.. but only in ONE FREAKING CASE (Silent Hill). Sounds like a failure in the making to me. To some people it might be fun, and it might actually be successful, but I think I'll stay away from it. I like Saw, the movies were great but the plot of it being a video game is bad. It seems like a very used theme, even though the movies have their own unique shine. Other than that, it might be enjoyable if it wasn't like every other game similar to it out there.

I doubt you'd be in the shoes of Jigsaw. However, they might just be innovative and do that. Might being the key word.
