"Hence the blood red. Though I would assume any demon wouldn't care to sacrifice those. As for Pearl, she is very special like that. I hold her controls after all, since I destroyed her humanity in the first place." He chuckled, looking at the nurse.

"Should I get food ready for her?"

"Yes, she will be waking soon. Prepare her white gown as well. You know she looks best in that."

"Yes. You need to get your rest, Zer-." Hibana looked down after hearing him paused and ask if something was wrong, and she noticed that Aiko had crossed the room and was now clinging to Zero's leg. "Aiko, is something wrong, sweetheart?" she asked gently, waiting patiently for the little girl's responce.

Aiko shook her head and looked up at Zero, then Hibana, and finally back to Zero again. "No. I'm just glad he's awake again and okay...You are okay, arn't you?" she asked him, her voice lowered. Hibana would have told her that as far as they could tell, Zero would be fine once he rested, but since Aiko had directly asked Zero, she remained silent for now.

Zero: { he looks down at aiko} hmmm you know I dont know I feel pretty good not sick at all so yeah I'll be allright aiko thanks for asking *kyou............. this girl is exactlty like you* so how about this I'll be your new big brother from now on k I'll beat up the bad guys and protect the innocent k { he puts his hand on her head as he smiles} okay hibana I guess I'll get some rest if you keep insisting

Zero: well big bro needs sleep now k I'll see you later after I take a nap { he lies own on his bed and he face the window and he pulls his blankets overhim} * now that I think about it I a pretty tired maybe just alittle nap* hey hibana { he sits up} hey uhhh my head hurts really bad do you have any medicine I can take




Reiko: { sitting at her desk she picksn up a picture and she looks at it and its the picture of a teenge girl and a little boy with white hair and she just smiles softly} heh hes still just a child at heart I wonder if hes actually resting

Aiko looked up at Zero, her eyes widened with excitement. "Really?" she asked, a few tears appearing in her eyes. She clutched onto his leg harder, smiling widely to herself. "Okay, big brother Zero." Hibana smiled widely as well at the sight, thinking, I'm glad she's getting to get a new brother.... A face from her past quickly entered her thoughts, and she pushed it away for now equally as fast.

"Alright, Aiko. We should go and leave your big brother, Zero, to rest a little while. We'll come back and see him in a little while, okay?" She stepped towards Zero and Aiko and held her arms out for her, taking another quick look at the sutures on Zero's chest. They looked like they were all still secure, but she would still check them again when she came back later. "Do you promise?" the little girl asked, turning back to face Hibana. "Yes, I promise."

Aiko nodded and looked up at Zero, still smiling wide. "Have a good nap, big brother. We'll come back as soon as you get up, okay?" Aiko walked over to Hibana and took her hand, seeming just as happy as she could be. "Yeah, I can give you something. Do you want a pain killer as well?" Hibana asked, leading the small child back over to the bed with her so as not to release her hand. Using her free hand, she grabbed two small vials and a needle from a small tray that had been placed out of sight. Looks like they were prepaired here...

After reading the medical names off of the label to herself, Hibana looked down at Zero and asked, "Which would you like? A small seditive that will help you sleep better for a little while, which will help your exhaustion headache, or a stronger sedative which is also a pain killer?"

Zero: ahh waht the he h-h-h- hellll no way g-g-g-g-ge-get that hing away from youd didnt say thered be nnnnnnnnnnn neeee-eeedles involved nno no no no way no needles I'll deal with the pain damn everydoctor always trying to give me a a shot no way this sucks back up back the hell up { ahh he trys to run but he slips and falls into the needle} ow *sigh* fine just do it I'll have the less thing so I can sleep

"You'll sleep just as good with the other, and it will help with any pain you're having right now," Hibana explained, carefully pulling the needle out of him so she could insert the medication into it. "And also," she began as she gently took his hand in hers and rested his hand against her leg, which she had propped up against the bed momentarely, moving her hand so she could lightly slap his arm where the needle had gone in before.

"If you hadn't have acted and already stuck yourself," She slipped the needle into the same place he had before, making sure to make it as painless as possible. "I could have made sure you didn't even feel it the first time."

She removed the needle and grabbed a small gauze strip to cover the small prick, applying pressure to it for a few seconds before removing and throwing away the gauze strip. She moved her leg, allowing him to have his arm back, and said, "You didn't even feel it when I pricked you, did you?" Hibana had had much practice with needles, so she had been able to find ways to make it to where the patient didn't even know he was getting a shot anymore. The light slap sent blood to the area, as well as made it faintly numb, she had found, and afterwords, knowing the exact location and how much pressure to apply by heart kept it from hurting any more than a simple pinch, if that.

Zero: yeah well you know I've never been a real fan of needle I have no real experiences of well on how to be a well socialble in this day and age and besides that was a big needle and wow I really didnyt feel anything so how long till I start feeling........................{ he fals back on the bed} happy { he falls asleep soon afterward} goodnight hibana aiko I'll wake up in abit ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! { he pulls the covers on him but he kicks them off like when a child sleeps sort of so their half on his body}

Hibana laughed quietly as she threw the needle away, laying the vials back where they had been before. Aiko was softly giggling as well, though she was covering her mouth to hide it some. When Hibana was sure everything was fine, she picked Aiko up and they left the room, closing the door quietly behind them.

"He's funny. I like him a lot," Aiko said as they walked away. "He is funny, isn't he, Aiko? Then again, he slept through a lot of his years as a kid, so maybe he's still just a kid," Hibana joked, knowing that not only would Aiko not understand that Zero had been comatosed, and also not wanting to tell her the complete truth and risk scaring her again. "By the way, Aiko? Are you hurt anywhere? If so, I can look at it and make it feel better for you." Aiko shook her head, but held her hand out in front of Hibana. "I was hiding, so I wasn't around when...Um, all I got was a little scratch, but it doesn't hurt anymore."

"That's good, but if you don't mind, can I still clean up your cut and put a bandaid on it?" Aiko nodded and layed her head on Hibana's shoulder. Once they were inside Hibana's office, Hibana cleaned and bandaged Aiko's hand quickly and she cleaned off a small couch for Aiko to sit on. She seemed sleepy as well, so Hibana sat before her on the floor and said, "Go ahead and take a nap if you want to, Aiko." Aiko couldn't repress a yawn, so she gladly accepted the offer and layed down, asking a final question before falling asleep.

"Will you wake me up to go and see big brother when he wakes up?" Hibana nodded and agreed, watching as the little girl held up her pinkie finger. "Pinkie promise?" Smiling, Hibana wrapped her own finger around Aiko's and replied back, "Pinkie promise. Now go to sleep, okay?" Within minutes, Aiko was asleep as well with her blanket laying on her exactally as Zero's was his.

Zero: { sits up in his bed his eyes golden yellow and he looks around} * what what is this I'm not moving my body* { a grin appears across his face and he then sees the stutures on his chest} .....................* whats going on I cant control myself* { he looks into the mirror and grins as if hes grining at zero} * who the hell are you answer me who are you!? { he jumps} AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! { he puts his hand on his face breathing heavily} it it must of been a dreamI long was I out { he looks at the clock} hmmmm lets see I guess maybe a few hours}

Zero: { he sits up and he puts his sneakers on} *yawn* ahh that felt good { he looks over and sees text books and reading books and a note that says ''study''} Eh? no way theres no way I have sto study!!!!!!!!!!!!! { he opens the textbook and he starts reading it} gah I hate this I dont understand this damned math hey wait aminute maybe a doctor can help { he hits the red button}

As soon as the button was pushed, Ai came on an intercom in Zero's room, calling, "One moment please. Dr. Hibana will be on her way."

When she clicked off of Zero's room, she paged Hibana's room. "Hey, Hibana. Zero's awake, apparently, and he's hit his pager." "Thanks, Ai. Can you go and see if he's alright for me until I get there?" Hibana called back, standing and walking over to the still sleeping Aiko. Ai replied, "Yes," and hung up, immediately walking down to Zero's room. "Hello, Zero. Are you okay, or did you need something?"

"Aiko...Aiko?" Hibana was shaking her shoulder lightly, and after calling her name the second time, Aiko awakened. "Hmm?" "Your big brother's awake. Do you want to go see him, or stay here and sleep a little longer? You can always see him later if you want to sleep.." Aiko sat up, rubbing her eyes, and wrapped the blanket around herself. "I wanna go see him." Hibana nodded and picked her up again, making sure that the blanket she was wrapped in wasn't dragging the ground. "Alright, then."

Minutes later, they walked into Zero's room. "He's fine, Hibana. He just wanted to see if you could help him with some of the school work he needs to be caught up on." Hibana sat Aiko down and walked over to where Zero sat, laughing lightly. "Let me guess: You figured that I was a doctor, and thus, I know how to do the math they teach you. Was I close?"

Zero: uhhh well I wasent gonna ask you personally but Ai over there just stared at me like I'm an idiot after I asked what fundamentals of algebra meant oh and by the way apparentlly this joeph stalin guy was some russian tyrant who massared abunch people! so yeah do you know how to do that kinda thing ohh hey Aiko did you sleep well?

Reiko: { walks inside} ohh hey looks like everyones here anyway heres your lunch this is all the cafeteria { puts it on his other table} and dont forget to keep studying no food till your done

Zero: yeah yeah so hibana anyway can you help me with this

Hibana shook her head lightly and walked over to the desk he was sitting at, pulling out the chair beside him so she could take a seat. "I've always been better at English, Science, History, and Foreign Language classes than Math, but I'll see what I can do to help you with all of it, Zero."

"I guess I'll go, then, since everything's alright. Call if you need anything," Ai called, walking out the doorway and heading back to her station once more.

"Umhuh. I did," Aiko replied when things fell silent again, nodding her head in emphasis. She stepped over to stand between Hibana and Zero and began looking at the covers of the books on the desk. "Those look boring," she finally added after looking at them all. "Are they any good, big brother?"

"Koriyama." A menacing figure stood at the door. "Why did you not tell them how to use it?"

"They can't sacrifice what they don't have. The other stone is obviously the reason they have the first stone. Both of them must be together to work after all." The nurse blinked, trying to figure it out. "You don't get it? How can you sacrifice something without becoming a doll?"

"I get it now. So you planned for them to target Franca. Strange though, I thought all humans were supposed to care about demon slayers."

"She's got the genes and power. Just not without a bit of sacrifice. He won't figure it out quite yet, but when he does he'll find that she's not loyal to anyone but me." He chuckled. "He'll have to become her new master."

"A good plan. You might just die though."

"I know." He noted for her to be quiet as Franca came out of her room. She was finished eating as she looked at him. "Did you sleep well?"

"I slept as I should. It was full of people today. I ignored them." She walked towards the door. "I will check on any missions." He nodded.

"They both work together then." The nurse spoke after she left. "So that's what you mean. The sacrifice and the stone create the doll that tells the future. The future outcome of any battle." She chuckled again. "You're absolutely sinful."

Zero: ughh come on I've been studying for hours cant we go for a walk around the city now see even aikos bored she certantinly doesnt just want to sit here { he streches} come on lets go for a walk or something I'll study later come on hibana I still need a chaperon dont I { he picks up aiko and puts her on his shoulders} okay aiko, hibana lets get going

Franca started to hold her head. It was hurting, as if something were wrong. Quite wrong with the current situation. She closed her eyes, holding it with a soft pressure to keep from being noticed. After a few moments the pressure left and she seemed like usual. She had no idea she was right outside of Zero's room.

"Are you alright? You liked like you were a bit dizzy."

"No, it was nothing." She swiftly turned around and began to walk away from Zero's room.

Reisha started to bleed as her wound get severe with so much pain. Her clothes was already torn and colored by her own blood.

" I.., still ...not enough..., Ukh.. " she breathe heavily and shake.

Holding on to her rifle she keep walking until she found herself can no longer hold the pain and start losing consciousness. Then collapse near giant tree at the Outer city

She lay there looked at the blue sky, whispered as her sense fading away "..Elswind... I'm.." she then lose consciousness before able to finish her words.
