You would be a pretty awesome god, but who would happen to the new beings we create? And what about the bad people in life? Humans who've suffered so vastly that no amount of things will please them, or people who as gods want to be better than the other gods?

Personally? I'd make a world where people can have their own little powers, but nothing "dangerous" and by dangerous I mean, meant to cause harm. Then I'm make things like monsters, only not so bad, give them some technological advances, and then throw in the "bad seeds." I'd Probably make a mirror world to that, that would be similar to real life, only maybe a portal to their awesome version of the world, and I'd have each person linked to their other world counter part, each animal to it's monster counter part. If something happens to one side, it's equivalent on the other side would be affected, only in things like death. birth, pregnancy, etc

While I ultimately wouldn't exactly approve, some people do indeed have a psychological need for suffering, whether they suffer it or others do, and it's not my moral responsibility to do anything about it. Ultimately, all I can do is making suffering optional. If people force their creations through it, there's nothing I can do without contradicting the basic tenet of my promise.
