the max number of cards allowed in a deck is 60. Most people use 40 because it is quicker in the way of drawing the cards a duelist needs in a more timely fashion.

40 min, 60 max for main deck, up to 15 in Extra Deck, and either 0 or exactly 15 in Side Deck. There used to be no limit for main deck (though you weren't ever gonna see anyone going around with a 90-cards deck :/), and before Fusion Deck changed to Extra Deck because of the Synchros, there used to be no limit either.

Anyways, about your deck...it sounds like a very fun deck to use, but i don't know half the cards you use and i don't understand what strategy you're aiming at XD (Even though none of my decks i create follow a specific strategy...instead just cards that support each other for a general strategy (Discard, Control, Offense, Defense, etc.), in a perfect arrange where every card i draw is a card that can save my butt or make me win) And i'm honestly a bit lazy right now to look their effects up, especially the Arcanas, and i haven't been able to rate and critize a deck correctly without "testing" it, but just from what i can tell right now, you have alot of equip cards and traps that might not be as useful :/ I don't consider Ribbon of Rebirth good at all, and you should consider taking out either Cestus of Dagla or Malevolant Nuzzler, or Axe of Despair if what you want is an equip card that you can continously equip without sacrificing monsters. As of traps, the Solemn Wishes seem to be quite "extra" in there, only healing you 500LP everytime you draw cards and you don't have drawing strategies at all. I have no idea what Hard-Sellin' Goblin is, and DNA Surgery will only be useful if the Arcanas aren't fairies or if there's an awesome card that takes advantage of your opponent's monsters being fairies, else it's useless. About monsters, you need 3 Shining Angels.
Also, i can't see how useful Marie is in the deck (especially since, from what i understood, you want monsters to be removed...Marie's only good in the graveyard :/), and i dunno if it's good to have 2 defenses (Forgiving Maiden and Spirit of the Harp)...but for that i'd need to see if the deck is focused on attacking or defending XD
And regardless of that, you're missing monsters and s/t destructors...if you summon your Helios, i can pwn it with a mere Sakuretsu Armor. There's nothing you could do once i active my Legendary Ocean-Tornado Wall combo. And, if i summon one of my big monsters quickly like i do and don't let you power your monsters up, the game's over already. You should consider, at least, Mystical Space Typhoon and ANY Trap card that can destroy monsters (keeping Shadow Spell though). There's also a few staples you should consider putting, like Monster Reborn, which is pretty much useful and life-saving in any deck :P

....I'll beat that deck in a second. It has like 6 different strategies, all of which need several cards to work, doesn't guarantee anything, and can be destroyed even before you get all the needed cards o-o

This is an example of one of my decks...an Advanced Format (so it follows Forbidden/Limited rules) Water Deck. It's not my best one, neither Traditional nor Advanced, but it's my favorite one and the one i've worked on the most...i just simply like Water-themed things the most XD lol
It hasn't won tournaments and it's not as good as others, mostly for the lack of awesome Water-support cards as there's for Plant or Zombie, but it can hold battle against alot of decks and it's very strong XD

I really haven't played in a long time going between different games really I have been focused on Poker but I play yugioh every once in a while so I don't really have a premade deck like I did before I just have all of my cards in a box but you have a good deck.

Well, that depends of what kind of strategy you want for your deck. If it's to fully concentrate on the Helios monsters, powered up by RFG cards, while keeping the fairies you have as other attackers/defenders, then yeah, you should buy that starter and mix the cards on it with the cards you already have. But without fairies to support your RFG strategy which will now turn into your main one, then it's not gonna work out very well :/

Well While I see your point sorrow I think maybe I could pull it off if I could look through the cards in the Dark Emporer. However....I can't find it anywhere other than toys'r'us. I don't want to buy it from there if at all possible because they'll charge an arm, leg, and a kidney for the deck. GRRR!!! I guess its back to trading to get the cards I need!! GRAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the ones that I can see are with you using cards that have been removed from play. There are a lot with the abilitys that yor monsters have that make them work well together like sending cards out of play instead of to the graveyard and the monsters attack and defense power increases. You shouldn't have a problem in a duel with that deck unless someone has a card that brings your cards back into play.

A Helios deck huh, well the problem is that you cant really make a good Helios/ Fairy deck because the two deck types don't generally go to gather. What you need is a Helios deck by itself, which CAN be pretty epic especially with card like D.D. Borderline. But with all the "DAD and Tela DAD decks being played now days, it should not be hard to have cards removed from play. You might want to look here and use some of these cards for a Helios deck.
