Mecha Grunty Bonus Quest
Mecha Grunty Bonus Quest
Does anyone else think that the Mecha Grunty bonus quest (with Proto Gurah) was one of the best parts of the game, story-wise?

I thought it was fun but I wouldn't say one of the best parts in the game it is more like one of the best quests.

Re: Mecha Grunty Bonus Quest
It surprised me XD I had no idea of a bonus quest.

I thought it was great myself! Seeing Mecha Grunty sacrifice himself, then Proto Gurah save him. Talking about purpose and good and evil and all that stuff, it was very deep for a quest!

Let's just say that's it not a "complete waste of your time" when you stop at the broken, stray Mecha grunties in fields and dungeons.
Re: Mecha Grunty Bonus Quest
Don't you have to do all 3 quests (from each game)

No I didn't and I still got it just rescue Mecha Grunty 30 times and you should get the quest.

Well, it was certainly entertaining. Definitely one of the better quests out of all the monotony.
Plus it was fun being able to take Shino on it; the only quest she actually got to go on. lol

I found it after finishing the game, and I've never received the email enabling it until after clearing, but is it possible to finish "Farewell Mecha Grunty" before Game Clear?

Probably the saddest part of G.U. as well as the only part of G.U. with real meaningful emotion.

I hope everyone gets rare items in their stockings!

Nope. It's just like The Forest of Pain...you can meet all other requirements before finishing the main game (in this case, rescuing Mecha Grunty 30 times...i think they were 30), but another requirement is also to finish the game. So, even if you've saved Mecha Grunty all other times, the quest won't appear until you clear the game.Ganheim wrote:I found it after finishing the game, and I've never received the email enabling it until after clearing, but is it possible to finish "Farewell Mecha Grunty" before Game Clear?
There is no use moving back, you can't trace back your path

Time has passed since we had last met, but we never meet without farewell
