Well I found my old copies of .hack//GU and decided to play threw them again, and when I got to the part with Cubia im a little confused. In IMOQ Cubia was the anti extiance of Kites braclet and she told him that if he defeated Cubia the braclet would be destoryed. Now in GU Cubia is the anti existance of Epitaph Users, so when they destroyed him shouldent they have been destroyed as well?

Supposedly all the other Epitaph User no longer have their Epitaphs after Rebirth. Aside Haseo who completely fused with his Epitaph and had previously data drained all the other Epitaphs into its being. So I kind of think of it as given birth from a completely different entity. But that's just my theory.

But if all of the epitaph users had lost there epitaphs how can the still give Haseo there powers when you fight Cubia?

I suppose Insydius meant "Redemption" instead of "Rebirth". All Epitaph Users had their Avatars until, at least, the time where Cubia Core goes boom.

Wrong. According to the developers and .hack//Truth, Cubia's appearance in GU was to oppose Haseo's Xth Form, which had the power of all eight Morganna Factors and, like the Bracelet, was thus the Key of the Twilight. They managed to fend off Cubia with the power of Morganna basically doubled over.

That bugged me too, I always though that Cubia would destroy all the epitaphs because to kill cubia means to kill them, but Haseo won because.. well its Cubia Vs Epitaphs, AND Haseo. XD

So, just a guess, will Cubia become even stronger in //Link, since Tokio has a strong chance of becoming the Key of Twilight, gaining all powers, and surpassing both Kite and Haseo, in terms of power?

Or it's possible Haseo "broke" Cubia. Defeating him in a logical way like Kite did wouldn't rule out his return, but with that deus ex machina crap at the end of G.U. anything is possible.
