Pain didn't take the 9 tails out of Naruto by draining his chakra, he only drained his normal and sage chakra (there's no way one of Pain's bodies could hold a tailed beast completely). The reason why Pain made that statement by the end of the chapter was because he considered his battle to be over with Naruto losing conciousness and the chakra that made him so powerful.

ok that was enough time. sakura. yep thats my guess, sakura finishes the fight. i think that would be more fitting than naruto actually beating sasuke. if naruto beat sasuke there would be no reason for him to continue to get stronger. so hes going to have to lose so that he can be like "damn you sasuke, I WONT LOSE TO YOU", then train for the rest of his life. i doubt naruto will become hokage by the end of the show, or rather decide he doesnt want to anymore. all naruto cares about is protecting his friends and the village yea sure thats one thing he needs. but he isnt exactly a leading government official type of person.

You're right about certain things though, like Naruto and Sasuke not having their fight yet and how in the end the good guys will actually win and all (in this case it'll just be the "next generation"...people like Kakashi will remain dead). Though i'm not even sure if the fight will happen at all, and there are several factors for it, such like the destruction of Konoha (what Sasuke wanted to do, and he can still go for the elders but i don't know if he'll react at all by seeing his town destroyed by his own "allies"), and how Sasuke is part of a group now, with people that consider him as a friend and vice-versa, and they will surely change his way of looking at things and probably realize he needs to team with Naruto or at least fight against the same enemy.

i like that but it remains that the characters have changed since the begining. so to think that sakura would pull something as stupid as jumping between two ultimate attacks in order to stop a fight that WONT stop, is a little unrealistic. she isnt stupid anymore, especially since she has had her training with tsunade. she is not going to die, nor will sasuke or naruto. sure i will admit my opinion of how masashi would end it is far fetched, but its still somewhat realistic.

as for sasuke having a team and being friends...that remains. i dont know how they could be called friends. (cant remember their names, darn) the girl is infatuated over sasuke, its lust not friendship this is why she will follow him. the originator of the curse mark will follow sasuke because he sees kimmimaro in him, and because kimmimaro sacrificed himself to make sure orochimaru had sasuke. as for the last guy, hes traveling with sasuke until he can kill off kisame. thats pretty much why, but as far as they go id say they have the most "friend" type relationship between them.

Chapter was okay but not great. two more people we know died. naruto killed off every pein body except the main one i think... cant remember, and dont care to look through the chapters again to find out. It was pretty sweet how he finished off that pein that absorbed chakra though, that was a plus.

Yup, apart from Pain's real body that "Deva Path" body is the last of Pain's bodies. The other 5 have been killed already by:
Asura Path: Ransengan before it hit Tsunade
Human Path: Rasen-Shuriken
Animal Path: Rasenrengan inside Gamabunta's mouth
Naraka Path: Rasenrengan from above
Preta Path: Turned into a stone frog (..and lol, Preta=Rock in latin or something)

Never have I've seen so many forms of Rasengan in just two chapters. I wanted Hinata to disobey the other guy's order and run in the middle of the fight. eventually getting severely hurt during the process, causing Naruto to lose it. Been a while since we've seen Kyuubi.

I thought we were going to see some of the Nine-Tails raging strenght at Pa's death, but apparently, even if Naruto got pissed and angry like hell, all he did was just attack Pain all on his own, without any aid from anything or anyone, including his own Sage Mode (and that's why he got owned)

I think that was just to show how much Naruto has matured over the years, and how much he's going to rely on his own strength instead of the Kyuubis' power.

I mean, if it was Naruto from part 1, he would have went Nine-Tails the minute he thought Kakashi was dead, the minute he saw his apartment with the lifetime supply of ramen was gone, the minute Pa toad died.

I think that was just to show how much Naruto has matured over the years, and how much he's going to rely on his own strength instead of the Kyuubis' power.

But who care's about regular Naruto? It's been months since I've seen his Kyuubi form in the manga.

Speaking about it, i wonder how would Naruto and Kyuubi interact now with Naruto's increased strength and maturity. I don't think it'll be like in the past where Kyuubi would prove it's superiority over Naruto and take over him completely, and maybe with the Sage Chakra Naruto could use Kyuubi powers and release as many tails as possible without hurting it's body or losing control. I'm not saying it would be a perfect synchronization as it is with the 8th tails and the rapper guy, but it wouldn't be far from it and i really see it possible for Naruto and Kyuubi agreeing in something that benefits them both.

Eventually, that will happen, but remember this. Naruto will not survive if he gains another two to four tails on top of his already achieved four-tailed state, because of the positive chakra that's still out there. He needs that in order to fully balance the Kyuubi's power. I think the only soul left that knows of it's location is Gamabunta
