After Yuri dashed past Chance, the young squire may not have seen his mentor's movement, but he noticed the nonexistent force of the blows as he either parried them or was 'hit' by them, but he kept blocking as best he could, and eventually it felt as though something clicked, or slid into place in his head. Everything seemed to slow down, even more than what he had previously thought to be just the adrenaline. Is this what Yuri meant? As soon as the thought passed through his mind he lost it and was quickly being overwhelmed by the after-image again. He slid the knife back into it's slot and picked his sword back up after the image faded. Although he didn't know where the knight had gone, he figured he was still in the area. "I lost count after the one-hundred-and-fiftieth stroke from the real you. Do you want to know how many times that after-image technique of yours did too?" He remained standing and unshaking, despite the pleas from his muscles. He had grown used to the familiar aches over the years. Training all day everyday for years did that to you.

Yuri: nah were good I wasent interested in how many times I hit you yoiu only had to succed in being able to see and by the way if you didnt I probably would of killed you so thats enough for today lets head back inside maybe foods almost ready { he jumps down from the tree} good job { he walks inside}

Allowing a few seconds more to finish filling the last of the three cups with a freshly made tea, Rayne smiled to herself as she stepped back from the table, which she had cleaned off while the food had cooked. There had been a shockingly versatile range of food hidden here and there throughout the kitchen, allowing her the ability to make a small variety of foods so that, hopefully, Yuri and Chance would have something they liked even slightly in the bunch.

The faint 'click' of the opening door drew her attention towards the doorway, where she noticed in the light from outside the silhouette from what she assumed was Yuri. "Perfect timing, I suppose..I just hope they like something I made..."

"Dinner's ready, if you two are ready to eat," Rayne called towards the open door in a softer tone.

Yuri: {sits down at the table} Awesome what ever it is I'm sure its gonna taste great hell no amazing { he takes his cup of tea and he takes a sip} ahh the tea pretty good now I'm sure the food will be much better ah { takes another sip} ahhh soo good

Leglius: I dont know how you can still call the kid innocent we caught him on tap and thers no song magic known that can change a persons appearance as we know so far

"Aren't you hungry?" Lucine shrugged, continuing to walk. "Hey, aren't you supposed to eat when you're hungry?"

"I don't eat at all, didn't you notice? Monster Tamers are human, but are unable to eat normal food. I'll get raw meat later."

"Wait...so you literally-"

"Quite." She continued walking. "Much like monsters, we cannot live like normal humans in the sense of civilized ways." She kept walking, keeping Sirius away a few feet. "Besides, we were feared to start with."

"Still, it's like you hate this world."

"You could say that."

Chance followed Yuri inside, thankful, but surprised that they were done training so quickly. He put his sword and armor back in the place he had set aside for them and then washed his hands. He looked at his hands as the clear liquid washed over them, carrying with it the dust that had accumulated. He imagined the blood of the beasts he had slain today going with it. Before he let himself get carried too far away in thought he shut the water off and dried his hands off with a readily available towel. He clasped his hands together and stood to the side out of the way. "Is there anything I can do to help, Lady Rayne?"

Yuri: { he stands up and he looks around the room and then he picks up a book and then he looks at it and its a picture book the photos r of a family and their 2 children the one child resembles Yuri great;y and the other is a girl who looks abit older then the boy} heh hahahaha { he shuts the book and his expression becomes some what angry and cynical but then he looks up at Rayne and chance and his expression turns to normal} ohh sorry about that { his stomach growls} STARVING!!!!! { he hangs his head} hey chance tommorow were gonna have to start your actually training

Chance nods his head. "Understood Yuri." I guess today was just to measure where I was at. Great... Well, I did ask for this, didn't I? Unusual training to go with an unusual mentor. He did his best to assist Lady Rayne and expedite the process as much as he could. He didn't want ot keep Yuri waiting, and he was certain that he'd need his rest for tomorrow.

" Hey Yuri. Can I talk to ya for a sec? It's important."

Yuri: { opens the door} ohh commander what surprize if your here for food forget it its mine got it

" No. It's serious. Come on." The 2 walk outside. " Look. Commander Legalius told me that you tried to break into one of the Academy's Top Secret rooms. Is it true?"

Watching as Yuri walked off with a commander, Rayne sighed under her breath and turned back to look at Chance, who had been nice and helped her finish what small amount of things she had needed to do for dinner to be ready. "Thank you for the help, Chance. It's very much appreciated, though after the training you were just put through, you truely didn't have to." Rayne nodded her head in an appreciative nod and moved so that she could rest with her back against the wall.

"I wonder how long Yuri will be gone with that commander,.." She asked, thinking out loud unconsciously. Waking from her light daze, Rayne blinked once and leaned off of the wall again. "Here. You're probably tired, Chance. You should sit while we wait for Yuri to return and take a break."

Yuri: hmmm lets see I dont think thats really your concern is it but if you mus now no I havent been down there I have no reason to be down there now if you dont mind I'm off duty for today so I dont have to listen to you { walks inside} *Sigh* man what a day { he sits down} okay now thats over lets eat some food { he starts eating the food} ,mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.................................................... { he lifts his head and drops his fork} delicious { he starts eating really fast} { and he holds his plate up} Refill { he continues eating} ahhh thats good

Chance nods his head to Rayne, but remains standing. "I appreciate your concern, Lady Rayne, but what I just went through is hardly enough to force me to sit down. I've been through much worse, and by the sounds of things I'm going to be going through worse tomorrow." He remained standing with his arms locked behind his back until Yuri returned. The only time he had seen anybody eat as fast as Yuri was on the first day of training. He held his fork to his lips unmoving, just staring at Yuri for about a minute before he actually took his first bite. "Thank you Rayne, this is the best food I've ever eaten."

Yuri: hmmmm { he finishes eating and then he sits back in his chair} * I was cutting it close this time I have to rerember to watch out for those cameras next I'm so close to unraviling the mystery but I'll take a break tommorow but for now* okay thanks for the food rayne it was good now lets kick off this party to celebrate our new partnership and the new squire and or Chore boy

"I'm glad you both like it. Truth be told, I was a little nervous about it, since I haven't really cooked for anyone in a very long time." Rayne giggled lightly, a slight blush taking hold of her cheeks, and she lifted her glass to her lips to take a small sip of her drink. When she lowered her glass, the color on her cheeks remained, but had clearly dimmed some.

She had eaten very little herself, but she hadn't been hungry, so she was perfectly content to see that everything had gotten eaten anyways. "I'll go out tomorrow while you two are training, probably, and buy some more groceries to replace what I used tonight, if that's okay. Um, if you have any suggestions for what I should get, please just let me know, and I'll try my best to get them." With a wide smile, Rayne stood and began taking the empty dishes to the sink so she could finish cleaning up the kitchen.

Lucine found a large temple within the forest, Sirius beginning to feel a chill in his body. It was making him feel weak, "Lucine...you're sure this is..." His body was falling, the ground sapping energy away.

"I told you to stay a few feet back." She spoke, turning naturally and picking him up. She put him onto a tree just on the edge of the field. "This is where it all starts, so stay here." She turned back towards the large temple, entering it. In the center stood a platform with a white area. "The seal of the world's balance, and next would be the seal of the God's Balance. What terrible things humans want..." She stood on the platform, closing her eyes.

A large amount of energy flowed into her, her voice starting to come out as it sang a terrible song. One of destruction, an ancient and dark time being told over the entire world. There was only a slight shaking before the entire temple began to fall down into pieces. The sapping field left, leaving Lucine in the rubble, getting up like it was nothing. A few injuries, but the platform had kept her mostly safe. "One is down." She mumbled, turning to go back where Sirius was. "Even now though...the world will still be balanced until the seal comes. I wonder if someone will kill me before it's done..." She smiled. "One can only hope, but it'll be quite awhile...before God's balance appears..."

Yuri: nah nothing in paticulur really you dont have to worry about it now beax rayne who wants to play cards { he starts shuffeling like a pro} how bout it huh * hahaha this will be fun besides its part of the training for beax well I had to go through this* okay lets begin with some texas holdem or rich man poor man come one some one decide

" I have a feeling that he's hiding something..." Walking away, he felt a strange aura pass him. " Hmm?? What was that?" He ran following the energy until he stopped at the city's gate.
