Decade stood on a tree top watching the family in the house. " No sign of harmful movement. That's enough scouting for today." He took out a card and put it in his belt. " Kamen Ride! Faze." He transformed into his Faze form and spoke. " Attack Ride! Auto Vajin!" He jumped onto a robot and took off. Heading back to the Mirror Edge.

Beaux turned his head in the direction of Decade. What is- His thought gets interrupted by a pair of sharp whacks, one to the top of his head and the other to his right shoulder. He turns to look forward and Tasha drops the wooden swords, one was little more than splinters. "Oh, Beaux, I'm so sorry. I thought you'd get out of the way, since you've been doing it so much lately." He turns his face away from her and back in the direction it was facing before. "What was that?"

Did I hurt him that much? I mean they're just wood, doesn't he have a really hard dragon scale covered head? "Beaux, are you alright? How many fingers am I holding up?" He turns back to her. "Three." Well, at least he can still count. "Do you remember who I am?" "Yes, Tasha, I remember. Is something wrong?" A trickle of blood falls in front of his eye. "Oh, you hit me didn't you?"

Beaux touches the top of his head and feels his shoulder. No broken bones, looks like I'll be bleeding for a little bit, but no major damage. "Feels like you got a couple of good shots in. Do you want to continue? I'm sure your still angry about a few things." "This is hardly the time for this, you're-" "It's the perfect time. It's best to get everything out in the open." "How can you say that so callously?" "Callous? I'm being honest." "You're bleeding!" "It happens! What do you think has happened in the past when the occasional vampire got in a good shot? I got hurt. I bled. I recovered. The same thing happened at the academy, but it was dragons trying to tear me apart, not vampires, and they hurt me a lot more than any vampire has been able to yet. Or is it just that you don't want to talk about it?" Tasha looks away from him and remains quiet for several long seconds, before Beaux speaks up. "You think I never had any regrets? Of course I did, but I've moved on." "Onto a little girl." "Yes, she's fifteen for now. But she will age." "And die." "I hope to too some day. The prospect of eternal life, frozen in time at the age of 23, not as appealing to me as it might be to you." "You think I like being stuck at 16? I've resigned myself to that fate! I have no intention of letting myself be KILLED!" "You think I'm going to?" "If it's Adelheid, you might. And I don't want to be alone...again." "Tasha, why do you think I'm so much stronger than you? Even though you've been alive for so much longer? You could have spent that time training, so that you can protect what, and who, is important to you. Now, I'm going back to training. Seer or not, I need to be able to hit my targets, no matter the range, what's happening, or how hurt I might be." Beaux walks past Tasha, pulls an arrow all the way back, and slowly releases the energy pent up in the string, and returns the arrow to his quiver.

He changes his bow into the desert eagle and kneels on the ground with the slide resting against his forehead. Your control of an element rests on two things. You're understanding of it. And your imagination. About 50 yards in front of him Beaux creates a titan of lightning. Tasha looks up at the sound of the crackling energy. "B-B-Beaux, what are you doing?" "Making a target, that I won't simply destroy." He levels the barrel at the titan and fires. He had put everything he could into that shot, but the titan still stood, although it did look like it had just been punched in the face. Beaux takes several raggedy breaths and then the titan changes into a very large dragon. It lets out a loud crackling screech. "Beaux, what are you doing?" "At this point, nothing. It's doing this all on it's own. Well, it is being directed by my subconscious." "Wait, this is your subconscious!?" "I am, technically, a dragon, but no, this is something I hate." "You hate dragons?" "I hate that part of myself." He levels the gun again as the dragon takes flight. He follows it and fires again. He smacks it in a wing, sending it rolling, but it stays intact as he lowers the barrel again. "This is gonna be a long day." "Maybe shooting it with electricity isn't the best idea." "Try your flames." Tasha creates a very dense fire bomb and chunks it at the beast, which bats it away and the blast explodes, casting the entire area for several miles in a crimson glow. "That that that that's impossible." "The only thing that limits your element is your understanding and your imagination. If I can imagine it and convince myself it's possible, then it can happen. For example, I'm convinced that if I shoot it enough times, it'll die." He fires off another blast, adding blue light in with the red, covering the area in purple for a few seconds. He drops to the ground, shaking and supporting himself with both hands while taking several long ragged breaths. "But I'm not convinced that I can do that with the energy still coursing through my veins, but we'll see."

Tasha steps away from Beaux. He's insane! He's pushing himself way too hard! At this rate he'll kill himself, OR! "Beaux, don't do this, there's no guarantee that you won't kill yourself if you try to fuse with your element!" Beaux fires again, coughing now as he turns to her. "Tasha, that's not what I'm trying to do. If that will do to me what I think it will, I would much rather not do that." If he's not trying to do that, then..what? And what does he think it'll do to him.

Kazuki: { starts eating quickly like really fast and then all of a sudden he runs out the door to where beaux and tasha are} huh what the hell! { he grabs beauxs arm tightly and his other hand makes a tight fist} uhhhhhhhhhhhh { he punches him really hard knocking into the ground making a crater and his jaw drops} whoops hey wait aminute dont get mad my body was moving on its own besides if anything were to happen to you what would mizuki do huh I dont know man my body acting on its own I'm sorry


Kyo: { smiles playfully} * hahaha if beaux pushes himself to hard it will make mizuki upset so I thought I'd intervene abit I hope you dont mind me doing this to kazuki sakura but if you dont want me doing it I'll stop it is abit cruel I was planning on stoping anyway*

The force of the blow from Kazuki had broken several of Beaux's ribs. He coughed several times and then looked from Kazuki to the beast still in the sky. He grabbed Kazuki's arm as well and then pushed off the ground with his free hand, sending them flying a dozen yards away from the crater just as lightning struck where they had just been. Beaux landed in a crouch his face upturned towards the dragon that had just tried to fry Kazuki. It fired again and he jumped backwards, but this time he fell to a knee after landing and coughed up some blood. I'm not going to be able to dodge again, and I can't channel it with Kazuki hanging onto me. Another bolt of lightning came from the beast's mouth and was stopped by a large fire.

Seeing what was happening Tasha acted quickly, thinking about what Beaux had said. She created a dragon similar to the one Beaux had, but in mid-air, and under her control. It drained her a lot more than it had looked like it had drained Beaux, but she was managing. The blast hitting her creation seemed to jarr her as well. Did he feel these as well when he shot that? Her beast flew up into the other and hit it with a large blast of fire. She looked down at Beaux who seemed unaffected by this, although he was looking pretty bad. Maybe it's because I'm controlling mine. She turned her attention back to the battle overhead and was pleased to see that she seemed to be winning. And it didn't take long for the lightning beast to dissipate under her ferocious assault. Her beast disappeared into smoke and she fell to all fours, breathing heavily. "I...did...it." She then fell the rest of the way to the ground, unconscious.

As the battle began above, Beaux eased his grip on Kazuki. "Thanks for the concern." He lies down, flat on the ground. "I'm glad you care enough to break my ribs for Mizuki's sake." I hope my lung didn't get punctured there. Kazuki moved unnaturally well there. I know I've seen that form before, and it wasn't when the Kokuyoku took over.

Mizuki had noticed Kazuki leaving, rushing outside, and she heard a loud aftershock of something after that. Putting two and two together, knowing something was really wrong deep within, she stood quickly and rushed outside just as soon as the dragons dwindled into their final sparks, and then faded. The next thing she noticed was Tasha unconscious on the ground, followed by the huge crater, which finally led her gaze to Beaux laying down on the ground and Kazuki standing beside him.

"What..What just happened?" She found she was too shocked to speak, and her voice had barely been a whisper. She could see Kazuki and Beaux breathing from where she stood, but Tasha, she couldn't tell.

Rushing over to her first, Mizuki noticed a raising of her back and sighed a sigh of relief. Rolling her over on her stomach, hoping breathing would be easier on the female dragon this way, Mizuki noticed that she seemed otherwise alright and rushed over to Beaux and Kazuki.

As she approached, her eyes instinctively went to Beaux, as Kazuki was standing, showing that he was alright. "Kazuki, what the heck just happened out here? All I heard was a loud "bang" and by the time I can get here, Tasha and Beaux are on the ground, with Tasha unconscious, and there's a huge crater a few feet away." All the while she was speaking, she was sitting beside Beaux on her knees, checking the lower part of his bottom jaw to find his pulse. It was there. Sped up a little from whatever she had missed, but none the less, there. "Beaux, are you alright?"

Sakura shook her head silently, dissaproving with his actions, but saying nothing against it now. Afterall, it was already done by now, and she had a feeling that after this was all over, he may think twice on what he made Kazuki do, seeing as how Sakura could only imagine how Beaux could be, if prompted, with his arsenal of powerful and swift attacks. "Kyo, I don't quite know if controlling him like that will have helped anything, honestly...In fact, I probably need to go out there and see if Beaux, Tasha and possibly Kazuki are alright, since unless he completely disabled Beaux with whatever you just made him do, I'm not so sure he won't come out of this unscathed himself.."

Kyo: *yeah yeah allright fine I dont think beax will attack back otherwise kazukis gonna react*

Kazuki: umm I dont know I got out here and there was some bad stuff goin down so I somehow stopped beaux dont ask how cause I dont know

Beaux was about to respond when he remembered he had coughed up some blood before, fortunately no appreciable amount had made it's way outside his mouth. He swallowed hard, trying to get as much of it down as he could. "I'm fine Mizuki, just drained." He forced himself into a sitting position, and managed to keep the pain from showing. "I think I could just about take Kazuki in an eating contest right now." He started pushing himself back up to his feet, but had to stop when he started coughing. Instead he looked around for Tasha. "Is Tasha alright?"

"I see.." Mizuki's attention was drawn back to Beaux when he began sitting up and replying to her previous question. The coughing made her flinch slightly, but she didn't jump to an overreaction yet. "You probably shouldn't move too much right now, Beaux. Just sit here and rest up some, alright?"

She rested her hand on his shoulder, hoping to reassure him into staying there and resting. "Tasha's okay, but she's unconscious right now. From what I could tell from her heartbeat, she just seemed exhausted as well. I'm about to go and check on her again, though. I'll let you know if I notice any change in her, okay?" Mizuki stood, pulling her hand off his shoulder softly as she did so, and turned back towards her brother. "Can you sit here with Beaux and not get into an argument and/or fight for a minute, please? I'll be right back."

With that said, she walked over to Tasha and felt her pulse once more. It seemed she hadn't changed any in her status. That was good. If Mizuki was correct in her thoughts, it should only take Tasha a little time of rest to recover from whatever happened while Mizuki was inside, and she should be back to normal.

Tapping her shoulder hard enough to get her attention if she was semi-awake, but not hard enough to bother her if she was weakened, Mizuki hoped to get a responce out of Tasha, but wouldn't be suprised if she didn't. "Tasha?...Tasha, can you hear me?"

"I suppose so," Sakura thought in reply. "I suppose if things got bad, though, you or I either one would sense it and be able to prevent most of it, if not all of it, right?" She lifted a white porcelain cup to her lips and sipped a small amount of coffee slowly, knowing that she was right in her assumption.

Tasha rolled back and forth several times and then reached out towards Mizuki. "Come on, why don't you stay? Just this-" Her eyes flared open and her hands dropped to the ground. She glanced around the area and then jumped up to her feet. She grabbed Mizuki by the shoulders and whispered into her ear. "Mizuki, I didn't say anything, strange, did I?" She glanced around quickly, making sure Beaux couldn't hear her and Mizuki's hushed conversation.

His commander Legacy spoke. " So Decade, how's surveillance? Decade reported no activity at all and headed to sleep for the rest of the night.

Kazuki: yeah I'd like to see you beat me in eating food { he walks back to the house and he leans against the door and his right hand glows and a weird mark shines through the bandage} ow dammit { he falls down to his knee} ahh { images of mizuki trying to kill him flash through his head} GAH!

Saya: Kazuki ! { runs over to him and helps him but hes passed out} damn kazuki you really need rest { she walks over to sakura} here he passed out in the hall I think he needs your help}

Kyo: { turns his head with a tiny bit of a concerned look} * he should be fine you should help him to bed sakura*

Beaux ambles his way back to the house, nursing his side, when he reaches Kazuki he kneels down next to him, ignoring his own pain for the time being. "What happened? Is the kokuyoku trying to pull something?"

Kyo: who knows

Kazuki: I'm fine I just need some sleep { kotaro jumps on his head} hey Kotaro your allways looking after me huh?

Kotaro: *meow* { lies on his head}

Kazuki: heh well will someone help me get to my room


Kyo: { he stands up} I'll be back I need some air { he walks outside and jumps onto the roof and he lies on it and looks at the moon} hmmmmmm looks like this is worse then I thought

Mizuki shook her head faintly, lowering her voice to respect Tasha's obvious wishes. "You started to, but you didn't fully finish..Don't worry, though. They wouldn't have heard it, if that's what you're worried about. You just had begun speaking when you came to, Tasha."

Hearing her brother's scream, she quickly turned, only to see Saya helping him inside.

She turned back to Tasha, missing Beaux leaving as she did, and bit her lower lip hard in concentration. "Tasha, do you need me to help you inside, or no? I need to go and see what's going on with Kazuki, but I'm not leaving you here.."

"Excuse me, Beaux." Moving towards Kazuki, having stood as soon as Saya had brought him inside, Sakura moved to her knees before him and manouvered her arms around him so he would be able to put all of his support on her when they stood." There was definally something off about this, and Sakura was sure that Kyo had sensed it clearly as well. It was almost too familiar to her, for some reason, and that could never be good. Especially not if it involved this power within him.

"Kyo, we have to do something besides making him rest. If we don't, I'm scared that the Kokuyoku could try taking over him anytime now, or worse...Please tell me you know of something we can do to help him. Blocking his powers is definally out of the question, though, at this point. I don't even think it's possible, is it, but even if it is, we can't do that to him. Not at this stage of progression he's at.."

Kyo: * theres nothing we can do I had to go through the same thing his bodies just ajusting to the stress and Powers on him thats all you can do just give him motherly love IU'm sure that would help it was only hard for me because my mother was well i'd rather not talk about it


Kazuki: { his body starts to ache} ohh I'm feeling a bit pain { he passes out} ah ah

"Kazuki!" Sakura had, thankfully, managed to catch Kazuki before he could fall to the floor, and was now holding him against her. "Beaux, can you help me take him to his room, please? Saya, I need you to go and open his door and pull down his sheets for us, if you can."

This could not be good, and unfortunately, according to Kyo, there was nothing more they could do for him than watch over him and help in any way possible.

"Kyo, he just fainted. We're taking him to his room as quickly as we can...You said he'd be alright, though, right? This is just his powers manifesting in his body?.." It would be evident in the tone of her thoughts that she was starting to panic some. She knew that Kyo knew exactally what he was talking about when it came to the Kokuyoku, but Kazuki was her son, and she hadn't been around to see most of Kyo's adaptations either, so she wasn't used to all of what she was now seeing.

Saya: { runs to kazukis room and opens the door and throws the sheets and blankets off} all clear!

"Of course, Sakura." Beaux rushed to help with Kazuki. "Do you want me to carry him? Or just help support him?" He wrapped his arm around Kazuki, ready to do either and follow any of Sakura's other instructions.

Tasha sighed. "Thank Paladine. That would have been bad." She pulled her legs up to her chest and then sprung to her feet, bouncing lightly for a couple seconds to make sure she had regained her balance. "I'm good." Tasha hurried back to the house, catching sight of Beaux helping Kazuki. "Beaux, you really-" "I'm fine Tasha. Just a little winded. I've never done that much all at once before is all." That was one thing she hated about Beaux, she could never tell if he was lying unless he wanted her to know. And right now she really wasn't sure. "Oh, ok, I guess I'll just make some green tea then." She glanced back at Beaux as she headed for the kitchen. If he was hurt he was hiding it very well, she saw something glisten blue in his mouth when he was turning his head, but she couldn't tell what it was.

"I know, Kyo.." Sakura had glanced up as Tasha had entered, and her words made her look at Beaux, who she noticed didn't look that great either. "Fantastic..." she thought to herself.

Mizuki had followed Tasha inside, but had missed the spoken dialogue between her and Beaux concerning his health. "What happened?!"

"He fainted," Sakura answered. Mizuki knew that Beaux, Tasha, and Kazuki had all just been involved in something big and that they Beaux didn't need to be up like he was now, but it seemed they had already figured out a plan to take Kazuki to his room, so she couldn't interupt it. Still, she could try to help. "Is there anything I can do to help, Mom?"

"Help Beaux and I keep him steady, will you, Mizuki? Just follow behind us and make sure he doesn't toss us off balance. Beaux, just help me support him, please. That's all I need." Sakura clutched her fingers into her son's shirt, trying to calm herself some with the motion, as well as to make sure that she had a good grip on him for when they had to climb the stairs. Hearing Saya's call, she nodded and turned to look at Beaux and Mizuki. "Are you two ready?" Sakura asked, her voice seeming slightly calmer now. Mizuki nodded in reply.
