Glitches, bugs, and other strange things
Glitches, bugs, and other strange things
The title pretty much says it all, I saw another topic like this and read it ALL the way through, and they didn't have a glitch that I found. Maybe its a certain field, (LONG time ago) but when I killed the second monster in a three monster team, the monster landed on a rock and didn't "Dissolve" like it should, I killed the last monster and the field around the fight wouldn't let me out. I tried to use an item to escape but I couldn't open up the menu, probably because, at the end of a fight, it disables the triangle button menu, and technically, all the monsters had 0 hp. But the monster wouldn't freakin' dissolve! I ended up haveing to reset. This happened in Vol. 2, so sorry for posting in the Vol. 3 thread, but I'm looking for glitches from ALL volumes, so umm... Yeah. Anyway, I ended up having to turn the PS2 off. All I remember was it was in Vol. 2, and it was a storyline field. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE? I COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING ABOUT ANYWHERE ELSE.

Re: Glitches, bugs, and other strange things
I've had that glitch happening to me too, and it's just bad luck more than anything else. Indeed, the battle ends when all enemies have their HP reduced to 0, and you can't access the menu or use skills anymore, and normally after that, the last enemy vanishes and you get EXP points and all. But that only happens after all enemies are on the ground, and the game will wait until that happens to continue with the end of the battle. But since enemies gain an immunity to attacks after a while (to move the enemy off the ground), and you can't use the menu for escaping yourself or anything, you're stuck forever until you restart.
And i've found several bugs, glitches, and strange things overall (mostly thanks to ZED, him being the one to find them first xD), and i'm not in the mood to remember them all (there are ALOT of odd/strange things, but mostly only seen through codes), but these are the ones i remember right now
-Mac Anu "Avatar Space" glitch
-Plataform glitch
-Empty floor glitch
-Cubia glitches/oddities
-Endrance's Healing Serum glitch
-Bike glitch
-Gap in the map in some "Galloping" areas
-Fearful Visitor glitch
-Rig Seam in Arena glitch
Also, most of them are only in Rebirth and/or Reminisce, and i think the Cubia crazyness is the only Redemption-only glitch

The Mac Anu one, nope, but obviously Cubia's glitches are in Redemption. Redemption is the only game where Cubia appears :PKeyaki wrote:-Cubia glitches/oddities

There was a glitch in Vol.1 when I ran through a field and all of a sudden, when I surprised attack a group of monster's, I fell under the field. Has that happened to anyone else?

No, but i can see it happen, given how simple the ground at fields is actually made. Especially if you did the surprise attack by a cliff or a bridge.shadow of skeith wrote:There was a glitch in Vol.1 when I ran through a field and all of a sudden, when I surprised attack a group of monster's, I fell under the field. Though did you actually fall endlessly under the field, or only fell a little but still able to move and everything?

Picture regular gameplay, but under the field. Everything was working, even the Ren-Geki and skill trigger, but it had no effect. So I waited for Silibus to kill them all, which took about ten minutes, since we were in a high-level field. Thank god I brought a hell of a lot of healing items with me. Yes! well, it seems that MasterZED had done it.TheSorrow wrote:No, but i can see it happen, given how simple the ground at fields is actually made. Re: Glitches, bugs, and other strange things
Oh, i get it now :P
ZED did it using the Plataform glitch (where, in some areas where a plataform and a cliff are close to each other, if you warp to it using Return Feather/Wing, you'll "enter" the cliff and be off the ground, able to go down and travel wherever you want. What happened to you is that, during the surprise attack, you somehow went into a cliff, and the enemies remained above while Haseo stayed under the ground, low enough that skills didn't hit the enemies.

Re: Glitches, bugs, and other strange things
I've been running into a glitch in Rebirth where I face off against Goblin Mages who are protecting a bridge entrance/exit and when I fight them I can't see them using magic. No magic circles or anything the magic attack just hits me out of no where usually its a earth attack. I was having trouble recovering because right after the first one I would get hit again. I was soloing the field so it was just me.
"So... are you satisfied now?"
