That morning Chi was out on the deck, looking at the sky with a new dress and hat on. One that had obviously been provided for her.

surame walked away from the old man, wondering why he'd blanked him off. he gripped the bangle tightly as space slowly faded around him. he whispered under his breath,"take me... to the games..." he stepped forward.. engulfed in a rush of objects, which soon turned into an azure blur. in an instant.. he was standing on a boat in the middle of the ocean. he looked at the person navigating it, and smiled. there was a splash as he was tossed into the sea. surame turned on the steam engine and looked off the edge,"thanks for letting me borrow your boat! I'll return it to ya when I'm done with it..." the boat began to move rapidly towards the horizon. surame looked off the edge of his boat to see another one which looked like a private yaucht, coming up on his left side. he saw a girl on the deck of the boat, recognising her face from before. he smiled and waved at her as his boat passed..

Saito woke up, and since no clothes were provided, he pressed the button for breakfast and waited calmly, until his food came, "Hmm, this place is so nice, I guess she's just somewhere else..."

Chi didn't bother to wave to the person in the boat, seeming to be in conversation with the male again. He was chuckling and talking about something much more interesting to her. "So Chi, what is that you're around him for?"

"Well, Agatha-san was observing him and he is a legend."

"And that idiot on the boat?"

"Not a legend."

"Good, your senses are getting better."

a vein appeared on surame's head,"I can hear the conversation y'know... it isn't polite to call someone an idiot because they have the decency to greet you..." he frowned slightly, looking at his engine. it was running out of fuel. he gripped onto the bracelet in his right pocket,"do you mind if I come aboard? my boat's almost out of juice..."

Millintica runs into a girl as he rounds a corner. Recovering quickly he smiles, tugging on one of his ears. "Oh, sorry about that, I wasn't looking at where I was going." "Millintica, what kind of trouble have you gotten into now?" He blinks several times as he tries to figure out how this person knew his name. "Uh, I'm just exploring, but who are you?" The girl stares blankly at him for a minute. "Lillith." "Oh Lillith, right. Wait, Lillith?!" He looks her up and down. He hadn't noticed before but she was wearing clothing very similar to what she had on when he last saw her, but she wasn't wearing any makeup and she was in fact somewhat cute. "I uh I didn't recognize you. So, what are you doing?" "Getting breakfast." "Oh, can I come?" "Just keep your hands to yourself, sticky fingers." She leads the way to the dining hall with Milly in tow.

As she entered the cafeteria there were a number of cat calls to which Milly waved ending them and kind of deflating the atmosphere immediately. Rachel looked up, she knew it was Lilly that had entered from the reaction. This happened every time she forgot to put her makeup on in the morning. But their second reaction had confused her. She was glad to see Milly, to her own astonishment, although she was perplexed as to why he was with Lillith. After making sure Milly hadn't taken any of the serving spoons Lilly and her small follower sit down next to Rae.

"Morning Lilly." The normally dark girl just nods in Rachel's direction and sets into her food. Milly pipes up. "Morning Rachel." Rachel gulps hard as her eyes rest on Millintica. "Morning, Milly." He smiles broadly and then stabs his eggs experimentally. "You know they need more fish on the menu. Some fresh fish. Just plucked out of a river, now that's a breakfast." Rachel simply eats some eggs, thinking how glad she is that she's wearing a mask with an open mouth today.

After Lilly finishes her breakfast she waits for the other two and then drags them both off. "Uh, Lilly, where are we going?" Asks Milly as she tugs on his collar. "We're going to practice. But first, Rachel, you need a couple of new ARMs." "Whah? But what's wrong with the ones I have now?" "The tournament's about to start, and if you don't want to die, you're going to need something stronger than what you have." Two rooks stand guard at a vault door. "Lillith, what are you doing here?" "Oh, nothing much, just killing the two of you. Cerberus." She summons the three headed beast and it makes short work of the two guards. "Alright, let's hurry, Millintica, you stay out here." The cat shrugs and leans against the wall as Lillith drags Rachel to the vault, unfortunately when they get close their ARMs stop working, preventing them from opening it.

Lillith kicks the large metal door angrily. "I can probably open it if you want." Lilith glares at him. She's showing an awful lot of emotion for her, I wonder what's got her goat. Must be something good in the vault. Lilly sighs, "Fine, open it, but you're still not allowed to take anything." "Yeah yeah." He says waving her off and going to work on the lock. "Oooh, this is a good one. I might break a nail on it, so let's use those." He reaches into his pouch and pulls out his set of lockpicks. "And there, we, go." A loud click is heard and with an audible heave he swings the large door open. "That is one heavy door." He comments panting slightly as Lillith drags Rachel in.

"Alright, hurry up and pick Rachel." Lillith finds what she is looking for almost immediately, she had, apparently, scouted this place out before, and knew exactly what she wanted. Milly spots a case of rings, and goes to examine it. "Hey Lillith, this isn't an ARMs vault, is it?" The dark girl doesn't look up from telling Rachel what it was she had just picked up. "No, it's not, not entirely. How do you know that?" "Because none of these rings are ARMs. Can I have one, please?" He says as he pries the case open, and removes the one ring that is an ARM, specifically Smokescreen, and replacing it with one from his pack. She rolls her eyes. "Fine, you can have one of the rings, but that's it." "Thanks", he says as he places a cat carving behind the case.

He then walks over to Rachel. "I don't think you want that one." "Why not?" "Just trust me, alright? Here, this can replace your python whip. It's called an Octopus II. And this, ooh, that's a good one. It's called Electric Eye. And oh, that's an exceedingly rare guardian ARM called Reindog. I'll go keep watch while you're getting situated." "Oh, no you don't, Negzero." Lillith stops Millintica dead in his tracks with her newly acquired ARM. So close.

"Rachel, make him follow us." "Right, Lilly." Rachel used her cat teaser on Milly and he followed them cringing. He wasn't entirely sure what was going to happen to him. Rachel had apparently done this before. There were partners after all, it wasn't very surprising that they might have some sort of routine worked out already. Which gave him the sinking feeling that he was about to be a target. Which he was right about that. The instant they got to the ruined garden Rachel released the hold on him and Lillith stated simply, "Run."

Rachel was using her Octopus II and she started to get very close to hitting him, and then Lillith started trying to get him with a scythe ARM. When he finally had enough of their cat and mouse game he pulled out his dagger and actually stabbed Lillith, only to have her turn into a puddle of blood. "Bloody Body? Interesting." His hollow victory didn't last long as he was once again forced on the defensive, and remained so for the rest of the day, especially after the rest of the ARMs started being used. By the time Lillith decided to call an end to it he was cut up some and exhausted. He takes on cat form and settles in on top of the fountain for the night while the two girls go back to their respective rooms.

Phase snuck into Rachel's room, and at morning when she woke up, he activated Zipper to activate a plentiful of weapons, Centipede, Flame Hands, Ghost Tail, and Saw Blade. Centipede attached to his severed arm, and Flame Hands came out of his lower stomach. Centipede could not hold a sword, and each of the flame hands and his own hand held a sword. Ghost Tail was at her heart. "You were talking to Garnet. He hasn't been around for two days." Through Zipper, Sealing Skull, Shadowman, Body Eye, and Shadow, could be seen.

Saito ate his food and then looked around for Chi, "Um, where are you miss..." he couldn't remember if he'd forgotten her name or if he ever heard it.

A servant came up to him, leading him to where Chi and the male were talking. "I heard that Agatha-san will get the favor of Kami-sama."

"Are you serious?" Chi's back was to Saito, her eyes widening. "Kami-sama is giving favor to her?"

"He has already appeared and has spent time with her. More than usual time."

Rachel looked up into Phase's face, terrified of the man. All she managed to do was mouth out the word mask and glance over at the drawer where her masks were kept.

Milly woke up and went down to the fountain for a bath. As he was still in cat form he didn't draw any unwanted attention. Except for the gardener who glared at him while replanting the maze.

Phase pushed the centipede tighter against her throat, and then got closer to her face, "Where the hell is he?"

Saito put his hands on Chi's shoulder, "Who is Kami?" He said smiling. "And who is that guy? He looks..." Saito chose not to finish although he intended to say "familiar."

Rakuen opened the door, and looked to still see the cube, "Garnet is still out of my way." Tala ran into Rakuen's room, while Aihara simply walked in. "Our ÄRM vault has been broken into!" Rakuen turned to face her, "Which one?" "Number Four." Aihara answered calmly wearing her mask.

Rachel had stopped breathing entirely as Phase got closer to her and all she could do was mouth mask over and over again as her mind started into panic mode, going blank.

"What guy? The one who isn't a legend?" Chi spoke with a shrug and smiled at him. "As for Kami-sama, he's the one who rules over us. It's a great honor to be visited by him without asking for time with him."

"Yes, meaning that you know a more terrible omen."

"I know but... Agatha-san dying?"

Miyagi frowned as he noticed the boy had left. Sighing he decided he should head to the games.This should be very interesting" Miyagi suddenly stopped as he stood staring at the sky.He was in deep thought as he walked. Walking slowly he made his way down the street trembleing as he walked.That boy reminds me so much of my grandson, so impatient. Smileing to himself he walked until he found himself standing in front of a dock. He thought of maybe renting a boat but decided on joining with some one else on their boat.

He approached a girl with short black hair who looked about to sail off. Coughing he spoke in a raspy voice. "Excuse me young lady....but could you help a old man out?" The girl looked at him with sympathy. "What can I help ya with.?" she asked.

"Well, I could really use help on getting to a...certain place..." he replied. "I need to get across the ocean to a very imporant place.

Smileing the girl nodded her head. "Sure, I'm heading out towards there too I'll take ya along with me." she said.
Miyagi bowed his head to her and stepped onto the boat. "Oh by the way my name is Minna." she said as she pushed the boat away from the dock.

"My name is Miyagi, but most people call me old man Miyagi." After that, the two sat in silence as they calmy went over the sea. "Oh...by the way have you seen a boy around, about your age looking?" Miyagi asked.

"No, I haven't, why? Is he someone important to you?" she replied. Laughing Miyagi shook his head. "No, he just reminds me of someone I knew..." Miyagi said sadly looking out towards the water.

Minna was about to ask something else but decided against it as she saw how sad he looked. So, the two continued on in silence both deep in thought.

another vein popped on surame's head. he put his hand on his head, thinking to himself as he did so,"don't let her get to you... she's just doing it deliberately.." Shirai then noticed what he'd done without thinking. the hand that covered his hand was the hand with all of his dimension ARMs on it. he'd accidentally flashed the gatekeeper clown. he put his hand quickly back into his pocket.. hoping no-one had seen it..

Saito nodded, "Wait is Agatha the one who has Tamao?" he covered his face, "Wait if Agatha dies do I not get to see Tamao?" He looked devastated for a moment. "Then we need to see Agatha."

Phase seemed to have his patience wearing thin. "ANSWER ME YOU STUPID GIRL!" "Wait, don't! What if she does know?" Phase twitched and the centipede claw closed tightly around her neck as he picked her up by her throat. "Last chance."

"You fail to see that Tamao will not return even if you manage to stop it. If Kami-sama sees her then it is a terrible sign." Spoke the male as he looked at Saito. "The dead can only be used a servants by us, they have no memories while they were living. Tamao would merely not know you until she was to return to the land of the dead."

"Saito-san...you're starting to miss that the Tamao you see now is not the Tamao you knew..." Spoke Chi, her eyes lowering. "Much like Mitsu was Tala's brother, but does not say anything about it. He would not remember."

Rachel's eyes dilate not that she could discern what she was seeing at this point. Fear had gripped her so tightly that she could neither hear Phase or even feel the centipede as it's grip tightens around her neck. Her mind shuts down completely and she falls unconscious. Her head lying limply on top of the centipede. Her breathing was so shallow that she could be perceived as dead.

Lillith walks into the room, she was planning on making Rachel get up earlier, but somebody had stolen her makeup and she had spent an hour hunting that person down. Her face was back to her normal look now though, except for the raised eyebrow at Phase's presence. She asks mildly, "My lord? I realize that Rachel is scared to death of men, but should you really be reinforcing it like this? She won't be very useful in the games if she's paralyzed. Unless you've made other plans for her of course."

Miyagi thrashed around as he lay on the boat in a deep sleep. Minna looked over at him with concern as she noticed how distressed he looked. I wonder what hes dreaming about...

In Miyagi's dream he was running. He was trying to run towards his grandson but he couldn't seem to reach him. Tears ran down his cheeks as blood splattred him in the face when he reached his grandson. Turning he looked wide eyed at the person standing next to his grandson's lifeless body. The stranger had a wide toothy grin. He started talking to Miyagi, but all he could see was his lips moving. The stranger got closer..and closer causeing Miyagi to inch away slowly. The person came closer..and closer..and closer until...

Miyagi coughed and gasped for air. Minna stood in front of him with a empty bucket in her hand, well it was full until she threw it on him. Looking up at her concerned face he started to say something but turned away.

"Old man, are you ok? Minna asked calmly. Nodding briefly he gave her a small smile. Up ahead, Miyagi noticed something in the distance. Could it be another boat?

Phase let her go and glared at Lilith, "Shut up." "Sarcasm leads to death." "What if she is being serious? Maybe neither know where Garnet is and he was called by the head knight." "Shut up! Stop talking! I hate your words!" "Lilith, tell me, what is the connection to Garnet with this girl?"

Saito sighed, "Tamao is alive and Tamao hasn't changed, she's just playing around, Tamao is Tamao and I'm sure of it." He smiled faintly, "And until I can hold her in my arms and she does the same I won't give up and I won't die"

Lillith shrugs. "I have no idea. Although she's my partner, I don't keep my eyes on her at all times. If she has a connection with Lord Garnet, I don't know what it is. For that you'd have to ask her directly." Walking over to the drawer with Rachel's masks. "Which might be a little easier if she has her security blanket." She tosses a nondescript one onto the bed next to Rachel. "You should put that on her before she comes to, or else she'll just go like this again. Her cloak could help her talk better as well." With a bow she says, "If you require nothing more of me, Lord Phase, I'll be going to the garden. It's recent makeover has improved it's atmosphere considerably."
