What ever happened to Case Closed on good ol' TV?

Post by azureeagle »

Look at the topic. From what I heard it was because Case Closed got low Viewer numbers on Adult Swim, and in Japan it was a Family series, but how is that possible with all the blood, murders, violence, blood, and more blood in the show?
Why does Japan have such Violent TV? >_<

Well actually in America people have a problem.
People can't blame themselves for their own actions.
So they didn't want little kids trying to solve real murders or something.

Yeah. I wouldn't want to see Spongebob or Caillou trying to find out who killed George Lopez. lol

Not my fault. But my guess was either Gosho Aoyama or the Anime's Character Designers were insanely drunk or just pretty retarded.

Another thing that got Case Closed canceled stateside is that the show has 400+ episodes. Hell no, they're not dubbing all that.

At least they're getting the movies dubbed, even if each one is like a YEAR or 2 apart from each other.

It did, with a whole bunch of other anime, did get picked up by COLORS TV for airing. And they aired quite a few episodes. I don't think channel runs it's anime block anymore though. :(

I guess it just didn't appeal to majority of audiences in Japan. And it was on Adult Swim, people would rather watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force than Case Closed. :/

I actually liked it, but it had it coming. Yeah, the series has 500+ episodes.

I think right now Case Closed is at 800 something episodes and 12 movies.
That's more than Naruto and Bleach episodes combined!

Actually the show is still going on in Japan. and it has 511 episodes as of today august 10, 2008. i think the show got low viewership. thas why it was taken off the air in america. too bad, the show seemed good too.

If Wikipedia is to be believed DBZ reached around 290 episodes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dr ... Z_episodes
Not that it really matters to the topic at hand, I'm just bored as hell.

By that, I of course meant "WATCHABLE episodes that weren't just power-up screams for 30 minutes, and/or episodes with content."

So that brings us to 15.
