Clannad Episode 24 [Tomoyo Chapter]

Has anyone seen the "special" episode of Clannad?! I think it's epic win. ^__^

The "first season" of Clannad never really got to me. Sure I watched it but I just wasn't as hooked as I was with Kanon 2006. (My opinion may change though with the coming of the After Story - which I will treat as part of the first season of Clannad instead of a "separate" series.)

I never really was a fan of Tomoyo in the series... She was always at the bottom of my list in favorite characters. This episode changed all of that! O__O And wow... Tomoya is a really really nice guy... Ahh I can't tell if I like TomoyaxTomoyo or TomoyaxNagisa more... ><;;

But yeah... has anybody seen it? What are your opinions? XD I've never played Clannad nor Tomoyo After so I can't compare it/them to the visual novels. :S

This sure has gotten me hyped up for the After Story though. Now I'm starting to like Clannad more than before... But.... WHERE THE HECK IS MY HARUHI?! I mean seriously... As much as I can't wait for the After Story... I wan KyoAni to release my Haruhi from her captivity already... T___T

It doesnt come close to Clannad , Tomoya x Nagisa . but it is indeed good


cant really compare kanon to clannad its just not fair

and part from what you said about after story , it is part of the seires "Clannad" its just a few years after (What happened after the school arc)

i hope after story has a better ending then the movie...the movie was just too sad ; ;

For being a whole visual novel route mashed into one single episode, it's pretty good, can't imagine it being better without more episodes.

An all Tomoyo episode that I did not stumble upon? Obviously I haven't seen this yet, but I'm really looking forward to watching this episode. Tomoyo has always been one of my favourite three characters of Clannad (Kotomi being first). The Tomoyo After visual novel also sparked my interest in a future relationship between Tomoya and Tomoyo.

One word: Tsundere.

I just finished watching it and I loved it; I was always more of a Tomoyo fan than Nagisa anyway so that gave it extra points from my part X3 This episode reminded me that I still have to watch that movie.

BTW, I have a question; After Story will be an OVA? Or is it another season? It's just that a friend confused me and now I have no idea --_--;;

I have to agree with almost everyone and say this was the absolute best possible way to get all of Tomoyo's arc into one episode, and it was very well done. Still, I don't feel it was worth the hype and the wait. For one, I was highly expecting atleast some cameos from the other characters, and a bit more comedy, the quality of which is what set Clannad apart from the rest of it's genre. Also, the end song sucked donkey testicles and it made me ruin a friendship to make me feel better off the tears of two total strangers. Also, I'm not a Tomoyo fan, so this entire episode didn't do jack **** for me. The two just don't have any chemistry, I'm sorry. Plus, the beginning was just abrupt. "oh hai thar we've been datin fer a month Nagisa who lol?"
