You're all n00bs. I got into anime when I was six years old and saw Sailor Moon. I was hooked for life, so now Sailor Moon has a place in my heart no other anime can get to.

I know they are on in Canada... or at least were last time I watched TV about 3 months ago.

Zoids was on YTV at about 5 am and Cowboy Bebop was on Razer in their late night anime line up.

Because there are so many better animes out there. I had the internet when it consisted almost entirely of anime and porn. I was too young to appreciate porn so I watched anime.

For me, it was Neon Genesis Evangelion. I was actually impressed with just about every aspect of it. Storyline, character development, visuals, originality along with many other aspects. Plus I have a weakness for shy/silent girls with blue hair...I mean what?! Who said that?

Wow, I didn't even remember Zoids. It wasn't that bad, I don't know which one I saw but I liked it.

My parents. They've been watching anime since they were young. My dad has a whole stash of manga, even in Japanese since he used to know some Japanese. And my mom...she was a fangirl of Captain Harlock. They were definitely the first generation of anime fans in the US. Then when I was an itty bitty baby, they definitely watched anime when they got home while I was around.

That reminds me that my mother was/is(?) into Mecha animes; unlike some friends whose parents told them to not watch anime because they are the devil (or some crap like that), she never said anything to me, in fact, she'd sometimes ask what was I watching if she was interested in it XD


EDIT:Oh, I almost forgot. Comparing Gundam and Zoids? Really? I can't understand why do people even compare animes.

Yeah, Gundam Didn't start out all that well. I remember seeing only Gundam Seed On TV for some reason, none of the others.
