pause?!?!

ok so I'm playing mutation and....say like i'm in a dungeon and i go to the next room well once i get there and everything freezes and it says pause. I've tried every button to un pause it and none of them work not even the start button!!!! what am i supposed to do when that happens?!

just out of curiosity what kind of controller do you have i had the same problem with a lighted controller that i had so i just used the sony dualshock2 contoller and it stopped. the controller plugin may be bad or it may even have something to do with the disk but i highly doubt that, if you can get to another ps2 check to see if the same thing happens with .hack//mutation if it does then i would guess its the controller if not then i would say its the controller plugin. just ideas for you to try

If something similar happens to other games of yours then its probly the controller. Other wise I would say its the game.

it might be the controller...that happened to me once (*sniff* my favorite controller...well...my only controller...) so I got a new controller and the problem stopped...if not...it may be your game or PS2...

I had that problem once and I took the controller out blew on it and put it back in and it was fine,it might be different though

Yeah. Considering it to be the PS2 would be the last thing to think about.

my PS2 fell and now there's a hole on my wood floor T_T my PS2 is sort of broken...but it still works ^^

this happened when i was feeding my grunty in the lambda server. it sucked cuz i had betten a tough dungeon before that.

It might be the game if so take the disc out and clean it then unplug the game controller and replug it back in place the disc back in and see if that works.
