Im thinking more along the lines of the worlds greatest mmo that get played by you with the full range of motion lol then we have some sort of final fantasy mega fight and AT and I are the final bosses... I already have the 5'6'' sword for ittsukasa4692 wrote:wtf. that does sound kinda awesome. what would u do if u were data... hmm.. i think it would be like Reboot.
Well, the outlook is probably different, with the La'Cryma hypothesis, people believe we wont be able to leave that world in order to reproduce, or fix it if anything goes wrong, not to mention we would eventually crash from not having enough storage space and not adding more as time goes on. However if we still kept out physical bodies that wouldn't be a problem, but that comes with the immortality trade-off. So you see the problem. Also I think that mastery over the universe could be a bad thing.AuraTwilight wrote:Omega Point is the idea that eventually, humans and whatever other sentient beings exist out there will use science to gain absolute mastery over the universe and create a utopia free of death, pain, suffering, and so forth as promised in many religions. One common theory is that this will be done by uploading everyone's minds into a virtual reality paradise.
A problem I see with the Omega Point is that it follows religion, which has been one of the major things holding back scientific advances so far in our society. If you had to sum up how the Universe was made, with the 2 sided debate, there is a way to to explain both so that they work with each other.
The universe started as nothing theory is crap, that has to be thrown out the window, and if in the beginning there was nothing god wouldn't have existed to create everything, and a nothing cant explode to create a something. Lets use math and physics. The universe was just empty space, not a nothing, empty space, so its a 1 in a mathematical calculation. God can best be described as the essence of force, and all physics rely on force, so it should be considered a zero, because force takes no space, and has no substance or anti-substance. So in essence, force caused a tear in the fabric of space, causing matter to form.
So one divided by zero = everything.
The Omega Point has requirements that make it impossible to have exist.
Which basically says the Omega Point is a person, who already exists, that is not bound by space or time, exists on a higher plain, but is still obtainable? Im sorry, but that contradicts itself, because in order to reach is you must have already reached it, which is not possible.* it must be already existing;
this is the only way to explain the rise of the universe towards higher stages of consciousness.
* it must be personal – an intellectual being and not an abstract idea;
the complexification of matter has not only led to higher forms of consciousness, but accordingly to more personalization, of which human-beings are the highest attained form of this 'personalization' of the universe. They are completely individualized, free centers of operation. It is in this way that man is said to be made in the image of God, who is the highest form of personality. He expressly states that in the Omega Point, when the universe is made One by unification, human persons will not be suppressed, but super-personalized. Personality will be infinitely enriched. This is because Omega Point unites creation, and the more it unites, the more the universe complexifies and rises in consciousness. Thus, as God creates the universe evolves towards higher forms of complexity, consciousness, and finally with humans, personality, because God, who is drawing the universe towards him, is a Person.
* it must be transcendent;
Omega Point can not be the result of the universe's final complexification of itself on consciousness. Omega Point, instead, must exist even before the universe's evolution, because Omega Point is responsible for the rise of the universe towards more complexity, consciousness and personality. Which essentially means, that Omega Point is outside the framework in which the universe rises, because it's by its magnetic pull that the universe evolves towards hIm.
* it must be autonomous – free from the limitations of space (nonlocality) and time (atemporality);
* it must be irreversible, that is it must be attainable.
The La'Cryma hypothesis has one requirement, that the evolution of life in the universe be caused by the evolution of technology, leading to the combination of all consciousness into one form, while still remaining separate. Like split personalities.
HOW DID THE QUESTION, "WHAT IF GOKU HAD A BEARD?" LEAD TO THE EXPLANATION OF THE CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE AND HOW TO ACHIEVE ENLIGHTENMENT????!!!!
