reasoning...multiple things------

~You're text is F***ing to big....i've told you a billion times...make it smaller...

~put the render as the FOCAL of the sig....side placement is crap...put it in to middle, or closer to the middle at least

~the entire left boring is boooring, burn tool it, add a linear or color dodged C4D or at least make some more effects...the background, a few lines, and shapes???? not doing it for me.

~blend Naruto a tad better; meaning....don't just smudge or blur him, then put another copied layer of him on top...at least feather it...small 2 px textured smudging does the trick a bit better.

~lighting....you have NO light source....yep your render seems to have some shading looking at his headband. apply image...and use the burn tool with a 65 px round soft brush.

~depth; no depth...just a render slapped on a background over a smudged version of the render...(apply image --> Sharpen --> sharpen --> lasso around render --> right click and select "select inverse" --> delete) then...(apply image --> blur tool! around render)

~some gradient maps...some blue...and some yellow and back and white might help...(black and white grad map --> set layer to luminosity)

harsh...i know....but....it seems a step backward from your previous work. spend some more time on your sigs...i think the least amount of time i've spent on a sig was 1 hour, the most ranged to about 6 hours. on ONE sig...not 20 minutes.

Adept:

1- As Daichi said, it's almost utterly perfect, which is a BIG improvement from mybannermaker's quality for your sigs. 10/10

2- I love Sasuke as well, and this sig is great, not only for him(Haha. XD), but because of the actual quality. A little more lighting in the background, mostly in the top left corner and around Sasuke's dark hair, may be nessicary, though. 9.5/10

3- The crash of the three, no offense. It has potential to be good, but the background ruins it completely. Maybe add the render to another, possible similar color palate, background, and it could be good as well, but as it is....I'd have to say it's a 3/10, as Daichi did. =/

I was afraid if I took what my sig used to say this would happen. The Ichigo nor Sasuke sig is mine I got those off Yahoo. But at least I know I got good ones. On the other hand the Naruto is mine. I get its crap I don't have a good photo editor. The most the pre-installed one I got on this new comp (old one has no internet period ) has a limit on what I can do with it. but I got a pic off yahoo again and t had already typed text so I just made it into a sig shape. I promise that as soon as I get photoshop I'll get back on it. Till then thought...ok well actually I got 2 sigs both with pre-writen stuff so I made it sig sized with my very limited >.< IPhoto...

Also, you should give credit to the maker of those two sigs or at least say you didn't make them, instead of saying you did, so that no one can accuse you of stealing them or plagerism.

Anyways, good sigs to be have just been resized, but you can use a cut tool to move the text down, alowing you to make the sigs smaller. 8/10.

I didn't see that when I read that post. Sorry, Adept. I just know a few people who have been branded as theifs of sigs, and they weren't looked at as serious sig makers due to it, so I was trying to warn you to stop that before it happened. Sorry again if I sounded accusing. I didn't mean to come aross that way. ^^"

AdeptOkay,.... the naruto sigs shure looks good, but is a tad to big to be sigs... try a resolution on about 450X130 pixels, such as i normaly use.

Yay I got better then huh? I am liking what I did. I'm not liking it as much as the others but here is one. Anyone that rates I want to say it was thanks to my new I Photo that I got my avi sigs that sort of stuff but I got effects and adjustment tools on it so I can't really change anything but I did try to make them look nice. I'm still uneasy about that but I like this I might have to resize it...

Did you really make your sigs? because i know FOR A FACT that i've seen image like those....especially the bleach one. i think you just took a stock, and cropped it to fit a canvas sized for a signature. because, that ichigo sig...FIRST OF ALL!!! the text down the left side is cut off, and it wouldn't be it you actually made the background. PLUS the cursive text under "Ichigo" is cut off as well, you just cropped the stock. that's not your work, it's 2 seconds in GIMP. please don't take credit for some one else's re-cropped work.

now you're wondering...'S@#$...how does Astra know?" well...it's fairly simple...your zabuza signature??? here's the stock you used. to crop into canvas size...okay props for using a grad map or something to give it a lighter green color, but you didn't make the background or do any of the work:

i know for a fact you didn't make any of the ones below that either.

Graphic arts is not resizing a picture, graphic arts is creating your OWN background, blending a render or image, and creating the effects, that's what making a signature is...not re-cropping.

And Hyuuga! if you read this, i know you've never had any signature making experience, there's no freakin' way you made that Elfen Lied signature...(if you did, i apologize, but i'd like to see the PSD)

i can't stress this enough:

ALWAYS GIVE CREDIT TO THE CREATORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you can't figure out who created that signature...don't use it!!! i'm sorry, but some of you are pissing me off....artists work their asses off creating those works, and they aren't to be used without the proper credit....
