Affection Overload

hey, I'm sure if this has been mentioned, but this is killing me in the game. I've already beat it, I've done most of the extras so far, but one thing continues to bug me and drive me nuts. Mainly Yata, Kaede, and Tabby. No matter what I do, I can't get their affections to go up! I've given them objects that they have LIKED, played with them in resonably leveled fields for them and I to level up in, I've hung out, and ect., send them notes/greeting cards which they don't reply to, and yet they STILL hate me >_< As in the red with multiple little evil red dots swarming aroud >_< I can not for the love of me to get them to like me or out of that red!

Any help?

hey there!! umm if you had beaten the game as you say you did,  umm you should have gotten the word "BBQ plate" when u put "BBQ plate" last word you can go to a place where god chim chim appears, what does God chim chim do is simple, gives ya a chunk load of chims and increases your party members affection when u kick him 10 times just repeat the process and there you go

PS:  i think all areas with "BBQ plate" has a god chim chim in, if not tell me i'll tell you the area i used

I haven't taken the time to be certain of this, but -
 Using the Animal Radar in a BBQ Plate area indicated no lucky animals present, so I think the God Chim Chim takes the place of the Lucky Animal. If that's true, I haven't seen an area that wasn't a bookmarked area given in the game not have a lucky animal, and you don't get BBQ Plate as part of a bookmark area, so I doubt any BBQ Plate areas will be without the God Chim Chim.

Basically what he's saying, if you've beaten the game(Which I'm sure you have). You should have the 3rd word called "BBQ Plate" on your list of keywords. Put any 2 other keywords together and put BBQ Plate on the end, and go to the field with people who you are having trouble raising they're affection. Look around and you should find a fat orange chim chim with a halo floating around. Thats God Chim Chim. You have to kick him a few times, but you'll get loads of Chim Spheres for doing so. After kicking him enough, he'll tell you a little message, then will increase your party member's affection. It's random but it can either increase by a couple dots..or a whole nother color. When I did this with Azure Orca, his affection went from blue with no dots to yellow with one dot. It's a good way to increase affection. And it'll save alot of time.

Any red what so evere and it just makes the person's affection go down. I've found that out the hard way >_< Thus why Yata hates me even more so now >_< It's just no matter what I do, I can't get them out of the red. Can't use God Chims or they hate me more, I give them something they actually like, they suddenly get more red dots, hang with them and level up(though now I'm at 150) and they hate me more once again! I'm lost for an answer >_<

(P.S.// Has anyone gotten Kite, Azure Bulmung, and Azure Orca out of the red, affection wise? Along with Yata, Tabby, Kaede, these three just won't go up >_< Plus I just recently got Natsume and havn't tried her yet but i'm hesitant with how things have turned out so far with my peeps hating me >_>)

Wrong. Plain and simple. You can raise your affection level from ANY POINT of it with the God Chim Chim. From, red, blue, yellow, pink, and all of the other colors ther might be. One of the things that makes the affection go down is you letting them die 3, 4 times per battle. No one would be to happy about that either. I have a Keyword which has a God Chim Chim not too far away from the warp point (the area is lvl 147, if memory serves). I'll give it to you as soon as i get it Try not to get anyone killed

Oh, and I know this, cuz this is exactly the way I leved Tabby's affection. So it's most likely to work.

That shouldn’t be happening. The God Chim Chim always raises the affection level of a character. That’s how I got Azure Kite, Azure Balmung, and Natsume's affection from read all the way up to pink (had to do it a few times of course). If it’s not working for you, there must be a problem with your game.

Um more red dots means its going up. The lowest affection you can get is red with no dots.

Easy the more dots the more they like you. if you have one red dot they hate you but if you hav 5 red dots they almost like you. the lowest thing in each color is one dot.Example the max affection is 5 pink dots so y would they change it for one set of colors.

red, blue, yellow, pink.(i think im missing one) 5 dots for each color. Simple. Also, the only time party affection is reduced is when you dont treat them well in battle, IE: They Die.

I got everyone's affection to max using the God Chim Chim. (Minus Pi, Kuhn, Atoli and Sakubo[Saku]) Plus, I never heard of God Chim decreasing affection.

I get the last thing you said but why would you need 2 or 3 Demon Safe Shoes? As long as one person in your party has them on the whole party is invisible to monsters.o.O;
