ok so apparently my "hitsuguya" arguement has not gotten through to pople yet.

1st off-He is a "child prodigy" in that he learned how to use his bankai within six year's where as normal people it take at least 10. Ichigo got the "konami code" and hacked his way into bankai.

2nd. Hitsuguya easily beat's luppi, the number 6 espada(on same level as grimmjaw) where as ichigo get's slapped around 5 times till sunday by grimjaw who hasn't even released his full power.

3rd-Ice dragon is over 9000 times better than ichigo.

4th-Hollow boy only lends his power to ichigo for 11(maybe a few more) seconds before it goes out the window. Toshiro can reform his bankai the instant it's broken.

5th-Hitsuguya is hardly cliche, especially when you compare him to ichigo.

6th-Hitsuguya's hair pwns ichigo's hair.

I lol'd Hitsuguya only had the advantage agenst Luppi beacuse of all the water and a surpise attack. Grimmjaw would litteraly **** over Hitsuguya if he didn't lose his arm hell even without his arm he would. Grimmjaw only lost the title #6 because of the loss of his arm. when he fights Ichigo with his arm restored his power Easly equals that of Visard Ichigo. Chad/Uryuu could beat him after their training

Hitsuguya isn't as bad ass as you think. His bankai is still immature because his a Kid. I wont spoil it now but **** hits the fan later. but Ichigo would win agenst him because he has more speed. His Ice attacks aren't fast enough to catch him. if Ichigo puts on the mask then Hitsuguya is finished

Hitsuguya's bankai also has a time limit. It goes away when those three purple things melt away.

Ichigo mastered his Bankai after the last match between him and His Hollow Self. Ichigo has to go Hollow to stand a chance agenst Grimmjaw. theres no way Chibi Capt could stand a chance in hell agenst Grimmjaw released or not. Later on Ichigo can ware his mask longer than 11seconds. any of the true Esparda's 1 could pwn Hitsuguya

Hes cool don't get me wrong but hes not the strongest. Gin could easly take him down as well.

Ichigo. By alot. While Grimmjow did surprise attack Luppi, Lippi still died with only one attack after Grimmjow got his arm back. Even if you on par with them you won't win with one surprise attack, so Luppi isn't stronger or as strong as Grimmjow. He was likely given the position because he can attack multiple opponents with his 8 tentacles. So Grimmjow > Luppi. And if you remember Luppi did surprise attack Hitsugaya and he was hit pretty badly in full bankai and everything (even if Luppi was released), so an unreleased Grimmjow killed an unreleased Luppi, he could probably do the same if they were both released, and even if Hitsugaya beat Luppi, the difference in power there isn't as great as being able to defeat Grimmjow's released form. Grimmjow was stronger than Luppi, don't kid yourself about it. And I doubt Hitsugaya could beat him in a fight. Ichigo barely did. Therefore my common sense, Ichigo could beat Hitsugaya.

Does that make sense? I couldn't think of a good way of putting it.

Mostly the result of these "fights" are popularity contest. Hitsugaya is more popular than Ichigo, akin to Sasuke and Naruto. Therefore, more people vote for him.
