Re: Some more new screens!!!!
You really can't expect a simultaneous release unless it's like uber popular. I think they've done a fantastic job so far.(except for the lack of dialogue from your party members in vol. 2)

The Japanese version NEVER had speech for the party members. The asudio was in the English version of volume 1 only, so no audio is actually closer to the original.
(Personally, I prefer it with real audio too, but I know some people will suddenly go "YAY NO AUDIO" >>)

Yeah, it'd take more than one person, you're right. Still, I can't really give them credit without understanding the process and knowing what they're doing. I'm one of the people who'd settle for faster, possibly lower quality work. I mean, seriously. You could probably assemble an amateur team out of people on these forums who could rip it from the disk, translate it, sub it, and copy it back onto a disk. Maybe not the best way to go about it, but I'd put up with it if it'd get me the story and gameplay faster. One other thing about the localization of G.U. is that these games are a lot shorter, and there's only three, so consequently there's less work to do than in the typical RPG series. Besides, I never said I don't like their work. They come up with a lot of stupid ideas. Like putting their vol. 1/2 "trailer" in vol. 2, thereby making me wait while they replaced the data.d5t wrote:You should probably, maybe, just give a little more credit to the localization team for .hack//G.U. They will end up translating all three games in less than a year. Can't say that about any other RPG series, eh? No rogue translator could translate this game by themself. It takes a team of people to tackle such a task.
I made up a monster. It's called Maxima Cheese.2112 wrote: Grilnick, grilnick...

That's sad. T.T I really liked the audio. Atoli sounded so cute. ^.^ Makes me wonder how they'll handle vol. 3....hack//BICTIOUS wrote:The Japanese version NEVER had speech for the party members. The asudio was in the English version of volume 1 only, so no audio is actually closer to the original.
