cancelling doppel's skill

There's a problem if you do that. During the time he's changing weapons you can't hurt it.

what I did was use a skill when he is charging me with his own. so it cancels his out.

You could use poison and cancel out his healing.

when you do most skills on him he just stands there like its nothing so its hard to cancel his skills. I tired using Twin blades on him in Vol 1 and 2 but with most skills I used on him he just stood there then as soon as I was done he pwned me with a skill. idk I didnt have that much trouble with him, just hope I dont in vol 3 either

I just leveled up the morale to the max before fighting him. Then using Beast Awakening with twin blades...works wonders.

Just kill him out of breath..Take your party..and use Divine awakening!

u can kill a doppelganger with any awaking i kill him with all 3 beast demon or divine when his hp was at max

The Emperor kind of helps for awhile but his melee attacks still are a pain to deal with.

Another way is to use this strategy I read about on GameFAQ.com .Hack//G.U. Message board. Just have a couple of smoke screens and lucky animal that will do about 500 damage each time you engage the Doppelganger. That will defeat him however I wouldn't really do that unless you really want to kill the challenge of defeating him without cheating.
