Re: Buso Renkin!!!!!
the fma stuff in it is what?
if it's just like because of alchemy, then that's just a theme :/
fma was amazing for its story etc, not its themes D:

Re: Buso Renkin!!!!!
Im guessing they read the manga, and got the thing about the Philosophers Stone and thought,"Oh man, another FMA rip off with Bleach added to it."

Re: Buso Renkin!!!!!
i thought is was a rip off of FMA because of the whole alchemy thing plus there were humonculi(spelling?) just like the 7 sins in FMA.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast

For it is the number of a man; and his number is... 666

FMA touched a lot of cool stuff... it had a lot of significances and meanings.
i was talking about the surface of the anime. alchemy from FMA (though the alchemy here is nothing like the alchemy on FMA) + Bleach kind of characters and stuff.
Is just to give some idea for those who did not know WTF it is... is not like it have the good stuff from neither one.
Re: Buso Renkin!!!!!
I watched it. It's okay. Not the deepest or most ambitious plot ever, but the theme song is amazing. Also Papillion. And some of the powers were awesome, like Killer Rabies.

The anime is awesome. You cant compare busou renkin to FMA just cuz of the "alchemy" theme. Alchemy is also practiced in real life too not to mention the philosopher's stone legend and homunculus >.> Its common back in the old days of Europe.

Re: Buso Renkin!!!!!
Though one thing I hate about alchemy in anime is that "homunculi " are always human-sized or bigger. Anyone with a knowledge of historical alchemy or even just Latin can tell you that this makes no sense. Homunculus means "little man", and it describes a tiny artificial creature, not a huge monster or artificial human being.

I agree I happen to read through a few of the alchemy terms and by far the most ironic thing in animes is that they always portray homunculus as either giant robotic-like animals or monsters and a normal sized artificial human being with superhuman abilities. They got the philosopher's stone legend down right and the alchemy basis.Kuukai wrote:Though one thing I hate about alchemy in anime is that "homunculi " are always human-sized or bigger. I was not comparing people.TheOneSinz wrote:The anime is awesome. You cant compare busou renkin to FMA just cuz of the "alchemy" theme. Alchemy is also practiced in real life too not to mention the philosopher's stone legend and homunculus >.> Its common back in the old days of Europe.
but how do you descrive an anime like that to someone who´s never seen it in few words? it was a way to say "on a first impresion it looks like this".
FMA is the most famous anime about alchemy this days so i used that one. i could have used anyother anime with alchemy on it. (or Harry potter lol.)
Oviously afther seeing 5 or more episodes you can hardly find common places betwen them. but it was just to give a general idea...
