The Avatars don't give a flying flip who can see them or not. They go for the people with the personalities/attributes that match themalong with possible personal interest (Haseo and Skeith, Endrance and Macha). Yata matches what Fidchell was looking for, so it went to him.

And Alkaid can't actually see the Avatars, she just know Endrance and Haseo are cheating.

I'm sorry, but this thread kind of gets me mad. Just a little. Because the idea of Alkaid being the owner of Fidchell is as ridiculous as Haseo and Endrance doing the DBZ Fusion Dance and coming out of the transformation as a metrosexual Super Saiyan named Endreo.

Fidchell represents inevitable fate. He's The Prophet. What part of Alkaid is prophetic or all-knowing to you? Because if she even had the attributes corresponding to Fidchell's requirements, she would have at least had the common sense not to get gang-banged by Bordeaux and that goddamn AIDA thing. She would've been like "Screw this, you're a LIAR!" and we'd still have her in our parties. Or is this just the insane Alkaid fanworship speaking?

Anyway, I guess it makes more sense than I realized. I mean, AIDAs can see Epitaphs, so when you're sitting in a big server made out of the stuff, guess the ability's kind of universal.

And to sumarize:
Alkaid and Fidchell are not compadible.The fact that Alakid has no idea that is was something more than cheating that hit her proves it.
Alkaid and Tarvos....she's not really avenging anything,considering it's a title.Nothing died.
The only people who can see avatars are AIDA,AIDA-pc's,Epitpahs,Epitpah users,and anyone in an AIDA-server.
Other than that,no one.
Well...except anything from the blackbox.Aura,for example,can see them.So can Cubia...A.I.'s...Zefie....Azure Kite,Orca and Balmung......and anything else the blackbox spits at us.
If Morganna was still around,she could see them to.
There's a chance Tsukasa may have been able to,seeing as how his mind was temporarily connected to the blackbox.

But apart from those....I've got to stop for a second....before I think of more.

What proof do you have that an A.I can see an avatar?

Azure Kite can see them.
That's proof enough.
As can Aura,and Zefie.They have nothing built int hat let's them see avatars,but they can.
All concious minds in the game are linked through the blackbox,as long as they are in the game deep enough.
This is why epitpah users can see them.The are linked to it though the avatars,and thus can see past their own epitaphs.
Anyone trapped in the game,or linked subconciously,can see them.
AIDA can see them because it infected Ovan,and thusly became linked as well,and absorbed the trait that allows them to see epitaphs.
It may also be why they can create forms only people who can see epitpahs can can.

When I pictured Alkaid as Tarvos, I meant avenging Sirius, although I guess that would require her to understand more of what was happening to him. She does seem to have that personality where you mess with one of her friends and she'll go to great lengths to bring you to justice, hence the whole vengeance thing. And welcome back Crow. :D

I like Alkaid better without an Epitaph anyway. Proves she can kick ass on her own.

I was reffering mostly to the ovan being infected by aida part which is a fairly big spoiler.

I left out how it happened,how deep it was,what he did with it,and all details.
For all they know it could have been a 4 second infection from reading that.
It could have even been a 4 year infection.The reader would see that as nothing more than a detail to explore.
BEsides,pretty well everyone comes into contact with AIDA.It's pretty obvious Ovan does.

If they hadn't cheated,Alakid would be alot less angry,and wouldn't even come off as trying to avenge anything.

Unfourtunatly,Alkaid dosn't have the qualities to use any of the avatars.
