per example... there is a polish movie called Avalon, directed by Mamoru Oshii. (a japanese director)
So i could get it in english, japanese or polish... since i can choice i would prefear to have the original polish audio and english subs.
It´s nothing against the dubs... at least not the english ones... lol.
thats the man that directed the ghost in the shell films :O
i bet it'd be an interesting film then.
and i completely agree on that. originally how it was intended to be would most likely to be the best. of course there is the unlikely case where the voices may just be terribe and there may be better dubs and also, if it's not japanese, i can't learn/test japanese either

A .Hack like concept (MMO-game so real that is dangerous to the players and stuff) directed by Oshii... that is Avalon. (AKA Wartrix ) It´s realy something. (for a class B movie)
For the dubs is just like you say. Even if the dubed version is good i prefear the original version. This is true to english movies and stuff as well.
i can´t picture the TMNT speaking japanese (and yes, they have an anime version... that´s just creepy) or Spidey speaking japanese... that´s just to bizzare XD

I've seen clips of that. Looked like they put Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles into a blender and let it run for like 20 minutes and then saw the results. I was like WTF!
Its kinda like when they dubbed the original Transformers to japanese. For one thing they got many of the names wrong and even got their genders wrong(Starscream/Screamer is female in japan ) and the voices were terrible as far as I was conserned. Not to mention they tried to make new episodes by splicing different scenes together from variouse episodes. I know they did it because in japan they have more episodes per season than in the US, but it still seemed soo wrong. And for some reason they didn't have Transformers The Movie so they made their own episode that was saposed to bridge the gap between seasons 2 and 3 called Scramble City. But they didn't even have US Season 3, but instead made their own version that became known simply as Headmasters and then latter did other spinoffs like Masterforce and Victory, both of which seemed more like alternate dimentions than actually being part of the main universe.
The point is that screwing something up from its original doesn't only apply to dubbing things from other languages to english. It happends a lot the other way around too. Just imagin how US shows and cartoons are changed/screwed up in other countries.

And your allowed to over there .
they don't have such things as terrible words that should never leave your mouth, or swear words. but what do you mean allowed to? its not like it's illegal to say the same things in any english speaking country O_o
i guess if you just say the words normally, it's still considered bad, compared to any equivilent in japanese which doesn't really seem to be. but still, it just comes down the the actions and when you say it. insulting someone with swear words in english is bad, and it sure isn't any better doing the same in japanese
