Heh I never knew it was for gba. I knew it had ps1 and ps2 games but...
Yeah it's a pretty good series. Capcom makes it.
It's a good RPG usually with a mildly decent story. I'd go for it.

Re: Breath of Fire?
They aren't that drastically different depending on the game. BoF 1 and 2 were originally released for the SNES and then rereleased on the GBA. BoF 3 and 4 were released for the PS1. BoF 5 was released for the PS2.
The first 3 games are a trilogy but it isn't actually necessary to have played the previous game(s) to understand what is happening though.
The first BoF game has a very basic plot and the game mechanics are also simple. It's an enjoyable game though.

Re: Breath of Fire?
Well, from a gameplay standpoint they are pretty outdated...but they are SNES ports afterall. BoF II's story was good though.

Re: Breath of Fire?
They are exact same as the SNES *hint* *hint* Versions of the game with more refined graphics and pretty pictures. If you got the SNES versions, you could also find the GBA versions but there wouldnt be much point in purchasing them. I didnt purchase them because I had to get an adapter to play them in PAL land and by the time they were released I already finished both by the time they came.TheEnigma wrote:for the gba? is it any good? i came across this game and it looks really interesting. i was wondering if anyone played this game and if so was it good or bad? just need some advice before i go out and buy it.

Re: Breath of Fire?
WEll lets see...z only BOF i 'v played is BOF 4 on PS1. And i gotta say, its z best PS1 RPG i hav ever played. I think it could surpass some PS2 games...
As for Bof5, i heard of it (dragon takes control of u after some time?? wtf! thats stupid! How's an RPG limited by time! )
But u still should get any BOF game. ITs a great serie by far. DOne by Capcom.
