Dang! I'm the only one who voted R&B! I really R&B, though....

Also, I dig hip hop (hyphy especially), rap, some pop, classic rock, classical, jazz, oldies, and opera. :D

Oh yeah, and BABY GOT BACK FTW!!!:P Stop hating on rap and hip hop, ayte? The hip hop lovers online have to deal with more crap online! That and it does take good vocabulary and knowledge of the good stuff to rap. I mean, not all rap and hip hop is about sex and drugs. If you think about it, rock, emo, techno, metal, punk, etc. has some damn lyrics about sex, drugs, and murder, too.

Sir Mix-A-Lot should be knighted for real, just for writing that stirring composition.

"Im pimpin while im talking."

Its gonna have to be Jazz. Theres always something positive and relaxing when listening to some good Jazz. Its a type of music anyone can dance to.

Hee, I'm still the only one that voted for R&B.

....

Is that something to be proud of?

Personally, I don't think being a fan of anything hip-hop related is something to be especially proud of, but that's just me...

R&B is good and quite better than some of the music I hear nowadays.

I don't view any genre of music as superior to another, nor do I have a preference. There's good music and bad music in every genre. As for the genre I listen to most, that would probably be hardcore, but I like everything from Jazz to Pop to Rap.

Agreed. I only stay away from Country, or Celtic Music. Everything else, from Hip-Hop to Rock, R&B to Metal, is fine with me. It all depends on your "ear." In other words, just whatever sounds good. If it sounds good to you, by all means enjoy it, you shouldn't change your taste in music because the majority doesn't agree with you. Singling out a specific genre is limiting yourself to other oppurtunities for great music in "other" genres. All genres have their good aspects, as well as bad. Music, in general, is a powerful force, the way it moves people, whether positively or negatively, is nothing short of amazing. Whether it's nodding to the beat of a hip-hop song, throwing your body to the mosh pit at a death metal concert, singing your favorite line from your favorite rock band, speeding down the parkway to a techno beat fit for street racing, or being intimate with your lover to an r&b single, it's all music, and it moves you, one way or another. In general, like Neverender, i'm simply a music fan, and can easily weed out the bad from the good, for all genres.
