Agreed. I only stay away from Country, or Celtic Music. Everything else, from Hip-Hop to Rock, R&B to Metal, is fine with me. It all depends on your "ear." In other words, just whatever sounds good. If it sounds good to you, by all means enjoy it, you shouldn't change your taste in music because the majority doesn't agree with you. Singling out a specific genre is limiting yourself to other oppurtunities for great music in "other" genres. All genres have their good aspects, as well as bad. Music, in general, is a powerful force, the way it moves people, whether positively or negatively, is nothing short of amazing. Whether it's nodding to the beat of a hip-hop song, throwing your body to the mosh pit at a death metal concert, singing your favorite line from your favorite rock band, speeding down the parkway to a techno beat fit for street racing, or being intimate with your lover to an r&b single, it's all music, and it moves you, one way or another. In general, like Neverender, i'm simply a music fan, and can easily weed out the bad from the good, for all genres.
