I really enjoyed MGS3.

I just hope MGS4 makes the jump to 360 (along with a ps3 release also).

Unlike many action games out their of the same caliber of MGS; MGS has a story to die for.

Well first of all, it's not what you would call an "action game," it's a stealth game. Action games typically don't require you to not engage your enemies. The Metal Gear franchise is going 20 years strong and lets face it, there aren't any other games like it that are of the same caliber; the story, among other things, is what separates it.

It better not happen. It will be my first MGS game. If it goes multi plat, i swear i will NOT buy it. Dident the creator say it was ment for a movie theatre? He called the wii a TV that the family watches. I forgot whhat the 360 was, and the PS3 was a movie theatre.

If you're going to quote an analogy, you really should try to not butcher it... Anyways, the game is designed around the PS3's mechanics and capabilities. The chances of it going multi-platform are basically zilch.

Raiden is pretty sexy. I watched the naked video of him on youtube. I would have been happier if the graphics were better?

I'm a Die Hard MGS fan here Ninja Raiden looks so much better than the Raiden in MGS2. MGS4 is a must have for me even if it goes to the Xbox 360. The reason i bought the PS3 first was because MGS4 was already Guarenteed on the system so i know that once i get it all i have to do is wait. If i went for the Xbox 360 first i'll probably be fuzzing if it's going to come out on the 360 or not. I'll get MGS4 the day it comes out!

Im pretty sure this is new, but the creator said that MGS 4 WONT fit onto a 25GB blu ray disk, they need a 50GB disk. That means that there isent much of a chance that it goes to 360.

It's pretty obvious that it won't fit on a 360 DVD, but where did you hear that it wouldn't fit on a Blu-ray?

That goes for any developer though. What im questioning is what is so big that is making MGS4 so big

It better be big and good, it will be my first MGS and i dont want a bad experiance like i did with my first Finalfantasy (FF12)

you got the post before me. Well this is bad news. How can they say that the PS3 price drop did nothing? It brought the Ps3 to number 1 on Amazon, blu ray remote to 2nd, ps3 controller to 3rd, and wii at 4th!! THAT ISENT BAD ITS GOOD! Silly konami

well but when you think about it. In business they want to sell their game (MGS4) as much as possible so if they make it on the Xbox 360 as well they'll sell even more copies of the game. But ofcourse if they only did it for the PS3 then that'll make more people demanding the PS3. So their decision is pretty much can tell if Sony will lose or win this one. So I think it'll stay PS3 exclusive if the PS3 remains #1 seller on amazon for at least a month. But talking about that E3 is on later tonight and Sony tomorrow so that's 1 day compare to 1 month.

If MGS 4 stayed exclusive to the Ps3, i think it would still sell well. What PS3 owner doesent want MGS 4? I bet everyone who owns a PS3 would buy it. Resistance fall of man sold over 2million copies and its not even half as popular as MGS. Oh well, i hope sony stops the MGS movie if they do this, PAY BACK!

There's another part of business: Making the product. It would cost a lot of money, time, and resources to port a game to another system. This is especially true in MGS4's case because Kojima said that the game is designed around the PlayStation 3's hardware. Metal Gear Solid 4 coming to the XBOX 360 is a mere rumor and nothing more. On top of that, as parodied by the picture I posted earlier, it would take even more resources to put it on the XBOX 360, especially considering the fact that the game won't even fit on a Blu-ray disk.

As for the Metal Gear Solid movie, I have no problems with it so far. Kojima seems to be in control of the whole project and if he's in charge, I'm not worried.
