How do u use the Blinking Mirror in Suikoden V?

I think it's a key item you need to be away from your castle and go to the key items list and select it. If you mean how do you teloport places with it you need Viki. Sorry it's been awhile since I played this game so I can't remember for sure :?:_

Depends on the situation.

Lake Castle-> other location:
Touch the large mirror beside Viki, and choose location.
You can only go to places you've been before.
Someplaces are unavailable do to story reasons.
Viki will normally tell you which areas are off limits.

Other location-> Lake Castle:
You must be on the field map.
Select the mirror from your items list and activate it.
It will instantly take you back to Viki at the Lake Castle.
If your in a dungeon/town, you must return to the map.
If your in a dungeon, there is a scroll that can take you to the entrance to make escape easier.

Are the Suikoden Series really worth it?

i mean, I have Suikoden 2 but never played it...I still think I got it in storage.

Whenever I loook at the back of the Suikoden Boxes, the graphics look kinda iffy, but I have always wanted to play them.

But, I digress.
As for your question, it's a matter of preferance.
I personally love the Suikoden series.
Instead of trying to save the world, you typically deal with political wars.
There are so many characters too!

Still, I like it, and graphics aside, they tend to have great stories.
I say give it a chance.

I'll give you my opinion of it and Suikoden 2 was really awesome! But seriously, who the hell cares about graphics, it's the storyline that's important!

u should play suikoden 2 it has the best story and Suikoden 5 is like right behind it. and what ever u do don't get 4 because the 4th one is pretty lame compare to the rest. And to answer the topic question blinking mirror can only by used when outside of towns or dungeons. it can not be used inside areas. When u used it u will return to where Viki and the mirror is located so yes if u use it the way it's supposed to be used, you'll get to places u want in a faster time rather than walking all day long.
